Product Overview
The Regatta Professional Pro Action Trousers are a staple for any tradesperson who requires high-performance workwear that can withstand the rigours of daily site work. These trousers are engineered to provide a reliable protective layer without compromising on comfort. Constructed from a durable polycotton blend, they are designed to be long-lasting and functional, making them a preferred choice for businesses looking for consistent quality in their uniform.
Key Features
Water-repellent coating: This finish provides essential protection against light rain and spills, ensuring you remain dry and focused on the task at hand.
Eight-pocket design: The inclusion of multiple zip-secured pockets allows for the organised storage of tools and personal items, keeping them secure yet accessible.
Triple-stitched seams and reinforced crotch: These design elements ensure the trousers can handle high levels of stress, significantly extending the garment's lifespan in demanding environments.
Kneepad pocket compatibility: Specifically designed to house Regatta kneepads, these pockets provide necessary protection and comfort for those frequently working on hard surfaces.
Part-elasticated waistband: This feature allows for a more flexible and comfortable fit, adapting to your movements throughout the working day.
Design & Performance
Crafted from a medium-weight polycotton fabric (65% polyester and 35% cotton), these trousers balance the breathability of cotton with the hardwearing nature of polyester. The fabric is robust enough to handle abrasion from building materials and rough surfaces, yet remains comfortable for all-day wear. The inclusion of a reinforced crotch is a critical performance detail, as it prevents common failure points in work trousers, ensuring they do not let you down when stretching or kneeling. With a size range from 28 to 46 and three leg lengths (short, regular, and long), these trousers are designed to fit the modern workforce accurately.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Pro Action Trousers are highly suitable for both print and embroidery, making them an excellent choice for establishing a polished professional appearance for your team. Embroidery is recommended for logos or individual names, providing a high-quality, permanent finish that can withstand industrial environments. For larger, high-impact branding, our printing services offer a bold and clear alternative. All customisation is performed in-house at our Telford facility, where our team has been perfecting the art of workwear branding since 1976.
Use Cases
These trousers are an essential choice for professionals in the construction, maintenance, and landscaping sectors. Their durable construction makes them suitable for anyone requiring a robust garment that can store essential tools while providing protection against light weather and mechanical wear. They are particularly effective for floor layers and carpenters who can benefit from the integrated kneepad pockets.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, please note that the part-elasticated waistband provides a small degree of flexibility, which is useful if you are working between sizes or layering over base layers. Given the triple-stitched seams, these trousers have very little give in the construction, so we recommend referring to the size guide to ensure a correct fit for your leg length—short (29"), regular (31"), or long (33").
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and finish of your trousers, a cool wash is required. Washing at lower temperatures helps to preserve the integrity of the water-repellent coating and ensures that the polycotton fabric maintains its structure and colour over time.
Avoid the use of bleach, as this will weaken the polyester fibres and cause significant damage to the fabric's strength and any applied customisation. For drying, use a low tumble dry setting; high heat can cause shrinkage and may damage the adhesive properties of any printed branding.
If ironing is necessary, use a cool iron setting. Do not iron directly over any printed or embroidered areas to avoid melting or damaging the design. Finally, these trousers should not be dry cleaned, as the chemicals used can strip away the protective water-repellent finish.
