Product Overview

The Regatta Professional Octagon II is a well-engineered 3-layer membrane softshell designed for those who require a professional appearance without sacrificing practical protection. This medium-weight jacket provides a streamlined silhouette while offering the technical performance necessary for outdoor work environments. It is a reliable choice for those who need to remain warm and dry without the bulk of a traditional heavy coat.

Key Features
  • Three-Layer Membrane: This advanced construction provides an effective barrier against the elements, ensuring you remain comfortable and focused throughout the working day.
  • Extensive Size Range: With sizes available from Small up to 6XL, it ensures every member of your team can be outfitted in a uniform that fits correctly, regardless of their build.
  • 100% Polyester Fabric: The use of high-quality polyester offers excellent durability and resistance to the typical wear and tear of a busy site, ensuring the garment lasts.
  • Print-Ready Surface: Specifically designed for customisation, the outer layer provides a smooth finish that allows for crisp, clear branding of your company logo.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a robust 100% polyester fabric, the Octagon II is a medium-weight garment that balances warmth with mobility. The three-layer membrane is the core of its performance, offering a sophisticated approach to weather resistance. Unlike bulkier outerwear, this softshell allows for a full range of movement, which is essential for active tradespeople who find themselves in awkward positions on a daily basis. The fabric feels substantial yet flexible, ensuring it won't hinder your productivity while you are on the move. The clean design, available in several professional colour combinations, ensures your team presents a unified and capable image to your clients.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This item is available with both print and embroidery customisation to suit your specific branding requirements. Embroidery delivers a textured, premium appearance—ideal for logos and names—and stands up to repeated washing without fading, maintaining a sharp look over time. Alternatively, printing is better suited to large, bold designs and a broader colour range, making it a versatile choice for high-impact branding across the back of the jacket. Our experienced in-house team, established in 1976, handles all customisation at our facility in Telford to ensure the highest standards are met before your order leaves us.

Use Cases

The Octagon II is a versatile choice for a variety of sectors. It is particularly well-suited for site managers, delivery drivers, and service engineers who require a smart, professional appearance while working outdoors. Its clean lines also make it an excellent option for corporate event staff or as a standard-issue uniform for technical teams who need to look professional while remaining protected from the wind and light rain.

Why MyWorkwear

At MyWorkwear, we have been perfecting the art of professional clothing since 1976. Based in Telford, we combine decades of expertise with modern techniques to ensure your team looks professional. Choosing us means benefiting from nearly half a century of knowledge in garment customisation and supply. We understand that your workwear needs to work as hard as you do.

Practical Advice

As a medium-weight softshell, this jacket is ideal for layering. For colder mornings, we recommend wearing it over a professional polo or a medium-weight sweatshirt to provide additional insulation. Given the wide range of sizes up to 6XL, we advise checking your team's measurements to ensure the best fit, as a well-fitted jacket maintains heat more effectively than one that is overly loose and allows drafts to enter.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical performance and professional finish of your softshell, proper care is essential. Following the specific instructions on the internal garment label will prevent the membrane from degrading and ensure the fabric remains effective against the weather for as long as possible.

Avoiding harsh chemicals and ensuring the garment is treated correctly will also protect your custom embroidery or print. This ensures your company branding remains vibrant and intact, preventing premature cracking or fraying that can occur when a garment is not cared for according to its requirements.
