Product Overview

The Regatta Professional Ablaze bodywarmer is a masterclass in functional layering, designed specifically for those who require core warmth without the restriction of full sleeves. Constructed from a high-quality warm-backed woven softshell, this garment serves as an ideal mid-layer for active professionals. The combination of thermal efficiency and weather resistance makes it a versatile addition to any work uniform, ensuring you stay comfortable whether you are working in a warehouse or on a site in unpredictable weather.

Key Features

  • Durable Water-Repellent Finish: This specialized coating ensures that light rain and moisture bead off the surface, keeping you dry during brief exposure to the elements.

  • Warm-Backed Softshell Fabric: The interior is brushed to trap heat close to the body, providing consistent thermal insulation without excessive bulk.

  • Inner Zip Guard: A thoughtful design detail that prevents wind from whistling through the zip and protects your chin from irritation.

  • Zipped Lower Pockets: Two securely fastened pockets provide a safe place for tools or personal items, ensuring they don't fall out while you're on the move.

Design & Performance

Engineered from 100% polyester, the Ablaze bodywarmer is built for the rigours of daily wear. The woven softshell fabric is both resilient and flexible, offering a medium-weight feel that provides warmth without weighing you down. Because it is a softshell, it offers a degree of wind resistance that standard fleeces lack, while the smooth outer face is specifically designed to be printable, allowing for exceptionally clear branding.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This garment is an excellent canvas for your corporate identity. Embroidery is highly recommended for a professional appearance, particularly for company logos or staff names, as the dense weave of the softshell supports intricate stitching beautifully. For larger, high-impact branding across the back, the printable fabric ensures that heat-applied designs adhere smoothly and remain vibrant. Our in-house team, based in Telford since 1976, oversees the entire process to ensure your branding meets our exacting standards.

Use Cases

This bodywarmer is perfectly suited for tradespeople, delivery drivers, and site managers who frequently transition between indoor and outdoor environments. It provides the necessary core warmth for colder mornings while allowing for total freedom of arm movement, which is essential for manual labour and operating machinery.

Practical Advice

The Ablaze bodywarmer is designed to fit comfortably over a base layer or a medium-weight sweatshirt. With a size range from Small to 3XL, it accommodates a variety of body types. If you intend to wear it over multiple heavy layers, you may wish to consider the measurements provided in our size guide to ensure a comfortable fit that doesn't restrict movement.

Caring for your product

To maintain the technical performance of your softshell, we recommend regular machine washing. This helps to clear the fabric pores of dirt and oils that can degrade the water-repellent finish over time.

You must avoid the use of bleach, as these harsh chemicals will break down the polyester fibres and cause the colour of your garment and branding to fade prematurely.

Do not tumble dry or iron this item. The heat from these processes can damage the softshell membrane and may cause any printed customisation to peel or distort. Similarly, dry cleaning is not recommended as the solvents used can strip away the durable water-repellent coating.
