Product Overview

The ProRTX Pro 2-layer softshell gilet is a refined solution for the professional who requires core warmth without the restriction of a full jacket. This gilet offers a balanced combination of practicality and a smart appearance, making it an essential addition to any workwear wardrobe. Whether you are managing a site or visiting clients, it provides a layer of protection that maintains a sharp, authoritative silhouette.

Key Features
  • The two-layer softshell construction provides an effective barrier against the elements while maintaining breathability, ensuring you remain comfortable throughout the working day.
  • A full-length front zip allows for quick adjustments to your temperature, which is particularly useful when moving between outdoor sites and indoor environments.
  • The polyester blend fabric is engineered for resilience, meaning the garment will withstand the daily rigours of a busy workplace without losing its shape or integrity.
  • Available in a broad range of sizes from XS up to 5XL, ensuring a professional and consistent fit for every member of your team.

Design & Performance

This medium-weight gilet is designed with the active professional in mind. The softshell fabric provides a degree of weather resistance that is well-suited for the unpredictable British weather, while the inner layer is smooth against your clothing for ease of layering. Because it lacks sleeves, it offers maximum freedom of movement for tasks that require a full range of motion, from lifting and loading to technical installations.

The durability of the polyester blend ensures that this gilet remains a staple of your uniform for the long term. It is substantial enough to feel protective, yet light enough to be worn comfortably over a base layer or under a heavier coat if the temperature drops significantly. The clean lines and classic colour options like Black, Navy, and Charcoal ensure it remains a versatile piece for any industry.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This item is available with both print and embroidery customisation to suit your branding needs. Embroidery delivers a textured, premium appearance that is ideal for company logos and individual names; it is particularly durable and stands up well to repeated washing without fading or fraying.

Alternatively, our printing service is better suited to large, bold designs and a broader colour range, making it a popular choice for high-impact branding. Our experienced in-house team, established in 1976, handles all customisation from our facility in Telford, ensuring that every garment meets our high standards before it reaches your door.

Use Cases

This gilet is particularly well-suited for site supervisors, delivery drivers, and tradespeople who need a layer that looks professional during client meetings but performs reliably on the job. It is equally at home in a warehouse environment as it is on a construction site or at a trade exhibition where a smart-casual appearance is required.

Why MyWorkwear

Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been providing high-quality apparel to businesses across the UK. Based in Telford, we combine decades of industry expertise with modern technology to deliver workwear that works as hard as you do. When you choose us, you are supporting a British business with a long-standing heritage of craftsmanship and a commitment to quality.

Practical Advice

For the best fit, we recommend layering this gilet over a polo shirt or a sweatshirt. Its medium-weight fabric makes it a versatile year-round piece. If you are between sizes, consider the layers you intend to wear underneath to ensure you maintain full mobility while working; the generous size range ensures there is an option for everyone.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and professional appearance of your softshell gilet, it is vital to adhere to the care instructions found on the internal label. Proper maintenance ensures that the fabric's protective qualities remain intact and that your embroidered or printed logo continues to look its best over time.

Neglecting these instructions can lead to a degradation of the fabric fibres or premature wear of the customisation. By following the recommended cleaning process, you ensure that your investment in quality workwear continues to represent your business effectively for many months to come.
