Product Overview

The Regatta High Visibility Pro hi-vis two-band easy print vest is an essential garment for maintaining safety standards across various professional sectors. Engineered with a focus on both visibility and practicality, this vest serves as a primary layer of protection for those working in low-light environments. The design prioritises ease of movement, allowing it to be worn comfortably over existing workwear such as jackets or sweatshirts without restricting the wearer's range of motion.

Key Features
  • Certified Safety Standards: This vest is certified to EN ISO 20471:2013 A1:2016 Class 2, ensuring it meets the rigorous requirements for high-visibility clothing in professional settings.
  • Rail Industry Compliance: The orange colourway specifically conforms to RIS-3279/TOM standards, making it suitable for use within the UK rail network.
  • Lightweight Knit Fabric: Constructed from 100% polyester knit, the fabric provides a comfortable and breathable experience for the wearer throughout the working day.
  • Tear-out Tag: The inclusion of a tear-out tag allows for easy rebranding or increased comfort by removing potentially irritating labels.
  • Two-Band Design: The reflective tape configuration is designed to maximise visibility from multiple angles, ensuring the wearer remains conspicuous to colleagues and vehicle operators.

Design & Performance

The performance of the RG471 vest is rooted in its material composition. The lightweight knit fabric is specifically chosen for its durability and its ability to withstand the daily rigours of a busy site while remaining easy to wear. Unlike heavier garments that might cause overheating, this vest provides the necessary safety certification without adding unnecessary bulk. The two-band reflective system is carefully applied to ensure that visibility is maintained even in challenging lighting conditions, providing peace of mind for both the employee and the employer.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

As the name suggests, this vest is an ideal candidate for customisation. Whether you require a company logo or individual staff names, this garment can be adapted to suit your branding needs. We offer both high-quality print and precision embroidery services for this item.

Embroidery is often the preferred choice for creating a sophisticated, professional appearance with durable company logos. For larger, high-impact graphics that need to be clearly visible from a distance, our printing service provides a bold and effective solution. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility, drawing on decades of experience to ensure a superior finish.

Use Cases

This vest is a versatile safety solution suitable for a wide range of industries. It is particularly effective for construction workers, warehouse staff, and delivery drivers who require high visibility without the weight of a full jacket. The orange variant is essential for those working in the rail sector or on infrastructure projects requiring RIS-3279/TOM compliance. It is designed to be worn over standard work clothes, making it a flexible choice for site visitors and full-time contractors alike.

Practical Advice

To ensure the best fit and maximum safety, consider the layers you will be wearing beneath the vest. We recommend sizing up if you intend to wear this over a bulky winter jacket or heavy-duty sweatshirt. The size range extends from Small to 3XL, catering to a wide range of body types and ensuring that every member of your team is properly protected.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and visibility of this safety garment, it is vital to follow the specific care instructions provided. A cool wash is recommended to preserve the integrity of the polyester knit and the reflective properties of the tape. Using high temperatures can damage the reflective materials, rendering the vest less effective in low-light conditions.

We advise against the use of bleach, as this will degrade the fabric and significantly dull the high-visibility pigment. Similarly, the garment should not be tumble dried, ironed, or dry cleaned. Exposure to high heat from irons or dryers can melt the synthetic fibres and the reflective strips, compromising both the fit and the safety certification of the vest. Air drying is the safest method to ensure the longevity of your investment.
