Caring for your product
To ensure the long-term performance of the waterproof coating and the visibility of the garment, proper maintenance is essential. Neglecting care instructions can lead to a premature degradation of the protective layers.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using aggressive cycles can damage the PVC coating and affect the adherence of any custom branding.
Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleaching agents will compromise the chemical structure of the polyester and cause the high-visibility pigment to fade, rendering the garment unsafe for site use.
The trousers should be drip line dried only. Do not tumble dry, as the intense heat of a drying machine will cause the PVC coating to peel or melt. Similarly, do not iron the garment; the direct heat will cause irreparable damage to the synthetic fibres and the waterproof barrier.
Finally, please note that this garment is rated for a maximum of 25 washes. Beyond this point, the reflective properties and the integrity of the fabric may no longer meet the required safety standards for high-visibility equipment.
