Product Overview

The ProRTX High Visibility full-zip fleece (RX750) is a robust and dependable garment designed for professionals who need to maintain high visibility without compromising on warmth. This medium-weight fleece serves as an ideal outer layer or mid-layer, providing Level 3 protection through its vibrant fluorescent fabric and strategically placed reflective tape. By incorporating navy contrast panels in the areas most susceptible to dirt, such as the cuffs and hem, the design ensures that you remain looking professional even after a long shift in demanding environments.

Key Features
  • Certified Safety Standards: This fleece is certified to EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016, with the orange version also meeting RIS-3279-TOM for the UK rail industry, ensuring you are compliant with site safety regulations.
  • High Visibility Class 3: The garment provides the highest level of visibility protection, making it suitable for high-speed roadworks and other hazardous environments.
  • Functional Storage: Equipped with two side front zipped pockets, providing secure storage for essential tools or personal items while on the move.
  • Adjustable Comfort: Features an adjustable shock cord hem, allowing the wearer to create a bespoke fit that traps heat and keeps out cold draughts.
  • Full-Length Front Zip: The sturdy full-length zip and stand-up collar offer versatile temperature control and additional protection against the elements.

Design & Performance

Constructed from 100% polyester fleece, this garment is designed for durability and thermal efficiency. The fabric is soft to the touch but tough enough to withstand the daily rigours of a physical workplace. The over-shoulder, around-arm, and body reflective tape are securely applied to ensure 360-degree visibility. The inclusion of navy contrast panels is a practical touch, helping to hide the inevitable grease and grime of the job site, thus extending the time between washes and maintaining a sharp appearance.

Customisation: Embroidery Only

To ensure your branding looks as professional as the garment itself, this fleece is available for embroidery only. The deep, textured pile of fleece fabric is not a suitable substrate for heat-applied prints, which can peel or appear uneven. Embroidery, however, allows our Telford-based team to stitch your logo directly into the fabric fibres, providing a high-quality, long-lasting finish that can survive industrial wear. At MyWorkwear, we have been perfecting this technique since 1976, ensuring your corporate identity is represented with precision.

Use Cases

This fleece is a staple for those working in construction, logistics, and roadside assistance. The high-visibility orange variant is specifically required for those working on or near UK railways. Given its medium-weight construction, it is a versatile piece that can be worn over a t-shirt in autumn or layered under a waterproof jacket during the peak of winter.

When you order from us, you are benefitting from nearly five decades of experience in the workwear industry, ensuring that every garment we produce meets our exacting standards and your professional requirements.

Practical Advice

With a size range spanning from S to 5XL, this fleece is designed to accommodate all members of your team. We recommend choosing your standard size for a comfortable fit that allows for base layers underneath. The adjustable hem is particularly useful when moving between active tasks and stationary periods, allowing you to regulate your body temperature effectively.

Caring for your product

Maintaining your safety garments correctly is essential to ensure they continue to meet visibility standards and protect you on the job.

We recommend a machine wash at 40°C to remove dirt and oils that can dull the fluorescent pigment. Using higher temperatures can damage the polyester fibres and degrade the reflective tape. Do not use bleach, as this will permanently damage the high-visibility properties of the fabric.

It is vital that you do not iron this garment; the high heat of an iron will melt the fleece fibres and the reflective tape. Similarly, avoid tumble drying and dry cleaning. These processes involve heat and chemicals that can cause the fleece to lose its shape and the reflective elements to crack or peel. For the best results, allow the fleece to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.
