Product Overview

The Premier Waist Apron is a well-engineered solution designed specifically for the rigorous demands of the hospitality and service sectors. This short-style apron offers a clean, professional appearance while providing the functional storage necessary for modern service environments. Constructed from a resilient polycotton fabric, it is built to withstand the frequent laundering required in catering settings, ensuring your team remains presentable shift after shift.

Key Features
  • Two self-coloured zipped pockets: These provide secure storage for cash, keys, or personal items, ensuring valuables are kept safe during active service.
  • Open centre pocket: Specifically sized to accommodate tablet devices, this feature allows staff to carry digital ordering systems with ease.
  • Crease-resistant finish: The fabric is treated to resist wrinkling, helping staff maintain a crisp and professional appearance throughout their entire shift.
  • 90cm self-fabric ties: Long-reaching ties ensure a secure and comfortable fit for a wide range of body types.

Design & Performance

Crafted from a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, this apron utilizes Klopman fabric, renowned for its balance of durability and comfort. The lightweight fabric ensures that the wearer does not feel weighed down during long shifts, while the polyester content provides excellent colour retention and structural strength. At 60cm wide and 33cm long, the short profile allows for a full range of leg movement, making it ideal for staff who are constantly on the move in busy restaurants or bars.

The garment is engineered for longevity, featuring reinforced stress points and a weave that stands up to the friction of daily wear. Its performance is further enhanced by its ability to withstand high-temperature industrial laundering, a critical requirement for maintaining hygiene standards in food-handling environments.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Premier Waist Apron is a versatile canvas for your branding. For a sophisticated, professional appearance, we recommend embroidery. This method is particularly effective for company logos or individual names, providing a durable and textured finish that can withstand high-temperature washes without losing its integrity.

Alternatively, if you require a larger or more vibrant graphic, our printing services offer a bold and clear finish. All customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been specialising in workwear branding since 1976. We ensure every logo is applied with technical precision to represent your business accurately.

Use Cases

This apron is primarily designed for front-of-house hospitality staff, including waiters, baristas, and bartenders. The dedicated tablet pocket makes it particularly useful for venues utilizing mobile point-of-sale systems. Beyond traditional hospitality, its secure pockets and professional look make it a practical choice for hair salons, boutiques, and outdoor dining events where staff need to carry payment devices and tools while maintaining a neat uniform.

Practical Advice

As this is a one-size garment, it is designed for maximum adaptability. For the best fit and comfort, we suggest securing the ties at the natural waistline. If your staff use various sizes of mobile devices, we recommend checking the dimensions of the central pocket to ensure ease of access during peak service hours. This apron pairs effectively with professional polo shirts for a casual yet uniform look, or with a collared shirt for a more formal dining atmosphere.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the integrity of your apron requires adherence to proper laundering guidelines. This garment is suitable for industrial laundering at temperatures up to 85°C. High-temperature washing is essential in a professional kitchen or service environment to ensure the removal of organic stains and bacteria; failing to use appropriate heat settings may lead to persistent odours or staining.

For domestic care, we recommend a wash at 60°C. This temperature is sufficient to sanitise the fabric while preserving the crease-resistant finish. It is important to avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and cause the colour to fade. Regular ironing is rarely necessary due to the fabric's finish, but if required, use a medium heat setting to avoid damaging the synthetic components of the blend.
