Product Overview

The Premier PR155 Colours 3-pocket apron is a staple within the hospitality industry, frequently appearing in busy bars and fast-paced restaurant environments. As a short waist apron, it provides the perfect balance of coverage and mobility, allowing staff to move freely without the restriction of a full-length garment. Its primary function is efficiency, offering a practical solution for staff who need to keep essential equipment close at hand while maintaining a professional uniform standard.

Key Features
  • Three open pockets provide ample storage for payment terminals and tablet devices, streamlining the ordering and checkout process.
  • The short waist design offers maximum freedom of movement, ensuring comfort during long shifts in demanding hospitality roles.
  • Integrated self-fabric ties allow for a secure and adjustable fit, accommodating a wide range of body shapes and sizes.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a robust blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton twill, this apron is engineered for the rigours of daily service. The polyester content ensures excellent colour retention and crease resistance, while the cotton provides breathability and comfort for the wearer. The twill weave is a deliberate choice for workwear, providing a dense, durable surface that resists wear and tear even when the pockets are heavily loaded with digital devices.

Despite its lightweight feel, the fabric is substantial enough to protect underlying clothing from spills and splashes. The dimensions—60cm wide by 33cm long—ensure it sits comfortably on the waist, providing a compact yet functional workstation for servers and bar staff. As part of the 'Colours' collection, it is designed to maintain its professional appearance through frequent use and laundering.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The flat surface of the Premier PR155 makes it an ideal canvas for brand representation. At MyWorkwear, we offer both high-precision embroidery and vibrant printing services to suit your business needs. Embroidery is particularly recommended for those seeking a more traditional and sophisticated finish; it creates a textured, durable logo that withstands frequent laundering. Printing, conversely, is the preferred choice for larger, more complex designs or when you require bold, flat colours that stand out across a room.

All customisation is handled in-house by our expert team in Telford, ensuring your brand is represented exactly as intended with the expertise we have developed since 1976.

Use Cases

This apron is ideally suited for front-of-house staff in the hospitality sector, including baristas, bartenders, and waitstaff. Its pocket configuration makes it particularly useful for venues that utilise mobile point-of-sale systems or require staff to carry order pads and pens throughout their shift. It is also a popular choice for event catering and outdoor dining where mobility is key.

Practical Advice

As this is a one-size-fits-all garment, it is easily integrated into any uniform programme without the complexity of managing multiple size inventories. When layering, ensure the ties are secured over your uniform top to keep the apron stable when the pockets are full. The short length means it pairs well with both trousers and skirts without obstructing movement or covering leg pockets if required.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the integrity and professional finish of your workwear is essential for long-term value and brand presentation.

This garment is suitable for industrial laundering at 85°C. This high temperature is specifically designed to penetrate the twill weave and remove deep-seated organic stains often found in hospitality environments; failing to use a sufficiently high temperature for heavy soiling may leave permanent marks on the fabric.

For regular domestic maintenance, we recommend a 60°C wash. This temperature is effective at sanitising the apron and removing oils while preserving the strength of the polyester-cotton fibres. Washing at significantly lower temperatures may not effectively lift greases, leading to a dulling of the fabric's appearance over time and potentially compromising the vibrancy of the dye.
