Product Overview
The Premier PR141 mid-length waist apron is a cornerstone of the Colours collection, specifically designed for the demanding environments of the hospitality and service sectors. It strikes a sophisticated balance between professional appearance and practical utility, featuring a length that provides ample coverage without restricting movement. Its popularity among waitressing and bar staff is due to its thoughtful design, which includes a tablet-friendly centre pocket and a dedicated pen slot, ensuring that essential tools remain accessible throughout a busy shift.
Key Features
- Tablet-Friendly Pocket: The central pocket is sized to accommodate modern mobile ordering devices, allowing staff to transition seamlessly between service and admin tasks.
- Integrated Pen Pocket: A separate compartment ensures pens are always at hand, preventing them from being lost in the main pocket or causing ink stains on other items.
- Generous Self-Fabric Ties: The ties are long enough to be wrapped around the waist and knotted at the front, offering a secure fit and a classic styling option for various body shapes.
- Sustainable Fabric Blend: Utilising certified recycled polyester, this apron supports corporate social responsibility goals without compromising on the garment's lifespan.
Design & Performance
This apron is engineered from a balanced blend of recycled polyester and cotton, resulting in a lightweight fabric that is both breathable and exceptionally resilient. The polyester provides necessary colour retention and resistance to creasing, while the cotton ensures comfort for the wearer during long shifts. For those requiring a sturdier feel, the Black and Indigo Denim versions are crafted from a more substantial, heavier fabric blend that offers increased durability and a distinct aesthetic for high-end bars or artisan environments.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The flat surface area of the Premier PR141 makes it an ideal canvas for custom branding. For a professional finish that stands the test of time, we recommend embroidery. Our in-house team in Telford uses high-quality threads to recreate company logos and staff names with precision, providing a 'proper' corporate look that enhances brand identity. Alternatively, for large, vibrant designs or promotional events, screen or vinyl printing is an excellent choice. Having managed customisation since 1976, we ensure that every application is handled with the expertise required to withstand the rigours of the catering industry.
Use Cases
This apron is a versatile choice for front-of-house staff in restaurants, cafes, and bars. Its sleek, mid-length profile makes it equally suitable for event catering staff and boutique retail workers who require a professional uniform that includes storage for tablets or payment terminals.

Practical Advice
As a one-size-fits-all garment, the PR141 is designed to be highly adaptable. We recommend doubling the ties around the front for a more tailored silhouette, which also helps distribute the weight of the apron if the pockets are heavily loaded with tablets or mobile devices.
Caring for your product
To maintain the professional look and structural integrity of your apron, we recommend a domestic wash at 60°C. This higher temperature is necessary for hospitality workwear to ensure that organic stains and bacteria are effectively removed, keeping the garment hygienic for food service environments.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Bleaching agents will damage the recycled polyester fibres and cause significant fading to the vibrant colours, while also potentially degrading any custom embroidery or print designs.
If tumble drying, use a low temperature setting. Excessive heat can cause the fabric to shrink and may lead to the ties becoming tangled or frayed. Similarly, iron at a low temperature to remove creases without scorching the polyester content. This apron should not be dry cleaned, as the chemicals used can adversely affect the fabric's finish and the adhesive used in certain printing methods.
