Product Overview

The Premier PR114 is a medium-weight waist apron that prioritises ethical sourcing without compromising on professional utility. Constructed from 100% certified Fairtrade organic cotton, this mid-length garment offers a sustainable alternative for businesses looking to align their uniform choices with their environmental values. Its clean, functional design serves as a blank canvas for branding, making it a staple for hospitality environments that value both aesthetics and ethics.

Key Features
  • Certified Fairtrade Organic Cotton: Ensuring that the fabric is produced to the highest ethical and environmental standards, providing peace of mind for conscious businesses.
  • Generous Dimensions: With a width of 70cm and a length of 50cm, this apron provides substantial coverage for the lower body while remaining non-restrictive.
  • Self-Fabric Ties: The ties are made from the same durable cotton as the main body, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit that will not fray easily under daily use.
  • Mid-Length Design: Offers the perfect balance between protection and mobility, making it ideal for staff who are constantly on the move.

Design & Performance

This apron is engineered from a medium-weight cotton fabric that offers a robust feel while remaining breathable enough for long shifts in busy kitchens or front-of-house environments. The organic nature of the cotton means the fibres are soft yet resilient, standing up well to the rigours of frequent laundering. The official Fairtrade logo is discreetly labelled on the garment, providing an immediate visual cue of quality and ethical responsibility to your customers.

The structural integrity of the PR114 is bolstered by its Fairtrade compliance and Oeko-Tex Standard 100 accreditation, ensuring the textile is free from harmful substances. It is a well-engineered piece of service wear that feels substantial to the touch without being overly heavy or cumbersome.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The smooth, tight weave of the 100% organic cotton makes the PR114 an excellent candidate for both print and embroidery. For a professional appearance that conveys authority and longevity, we recommend embroidery for company logos or staff names. The fabric's structure supports high-density stitching, ensuring your branding remains crisp and secure over time.

For larger, more vibrant promotional designs or bold messaging, screen or digital printing is equally effective. Our in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting these techniques since 1976, will ensure that whichever method you choose, the finish is of a superior standard that reflects the quality of your brand.

Use Cases

This apron is specifically designed for the hospitality and catering sectors. It is particularly well-suited for wait staff in cafes, baristas in speciality coffee shops, and servers in outdoor dining environments. Because of its organic and Fairtrade credentials, it is the preferred choice for eco-conscious businesses, organic food retailers, and health-focused establishments.

Why MyWorkwear

Practical Advice

The PR114 is a 'one size fits all' garment, but the generous 70cm width and long self-fabric ties mean it can be easily adjusted to suit various body shapes. We suggest wearing this over contrasting trousers or skirts to allow your embroidered logo to stand out. It also layers comfortably over leggings or work trousers without adding unnecessary bulk.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance and professional appearance of this organic cotton apron, it is essential to follow the recommended care guidelines. A domestic wash at 40°C is recommended to effectively remove spills and stains common in hospitality environments while preserving the natural fibres of the cotton.

Following these temperature guidelines ensures the fabric's integrity and prevents the premature fading of any custom print or embroidery. Regular, proper laundering will keep the apron looking fresh and ensure it continues to represent your business to the highest standard.
