Product Overview

The WX3 Modaflame Work FR Coverall represents a significant advancement in protective workwear, combining contemporary styling with high-level safety specifications. This medium-weight garment is engineered from inherent Modaflame fabric, ensuring that its flame-resistant properties are part of the material structure itself rather than a superficial coating. Designed for professionals working in hazardous environments, it balances the necessity of protection with the modern requirement for comfort and mobility.

Key Features
  • Innovative Stretch Panelling: Strategically placed to provide superior flexibility and ease of movement in critical areas, reducing fabric tension and wearer fatigue.
  • Metal-Free Construction: Designed specifically for environments where non-conductivity is essential, ensuring the wearer remains safe near electrical hazards.
  • Integrated Back Ventilation: Promotes airflow to keep the wearer cool and comfortable during physically demanding shifts.
  • Adjustable Waistband and Cuffs: Allows for a tailored fit that prevents the garment from snagging and ensures a professional silhouette.
  • Pre-bent Sleeves: Anatomically designed to mirror the natural movement of the arms, enhancing overall range of motion.
  • Extensive Storage Solutions: Multiple pockets are provided to ensure that essential tools and items are always within reach without compromising the garment's protective integrity.

Design & Performance

The core of this coverall is the Modaflame Work fabric, a sophisticated blend of 60% Modacrylic, 39% Cotton, and 1% Carbon Fibre. This combination offers a substantial feel while remaining breathable. The inclusion of Carbon Fibre provides permanent anti-static protection, which is vital for many industrial applications. The contrast stretch panels are equally well-engineered, incorporating 4% Elastane to provide the necessary 'give' for reaching and bending without the fabric losing its shape over time.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This coverall is a robust canvas for your corporate identity. Embroidery is highly recommended for a professional finish on the chest or arms, particularly for company logos or staff names, as the dense weave of the Modaflame fabric supports intricate needlework exceptionally well. For larger, more prominent branding on the back, our high-quality printing process ensures bold visibility.

Our expert team in Telford has been perfecting workwear customisation since 1976. We handle the entire process in-house to ensure that your branding is applied with the same precision that went into the garment's manufacture.

Use Cases

This coverall is specifically designed for professionals in the petrochemical, utility, and electrical engineering sectors. It is ideal for any environment where there is a risk of heat, flame, or static discharge, providing a comprehensive safety solution in a single, well-engineered piece of equipment.

Practical Advice

Given the inclusion of stretch panels and adjustable components, this coverall offers a more versatile fit than traditional, rigid flame-resistant garments. We recommend selecting your standard size, but consider the layers you intend to wear underneath; the breathable nature of the fabric makes it suitable for year-round use when paired with appropriate base layers.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the protective performance of your coverall is essential for your safety. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C using a normal process. This temperature is sufficient to remove industrial grime without degrading the inherent flame-resistant fibres.

Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleaching agents can chemically damage the Modacrylic and Carbon fibres, potentially compromising the garment's anti-static and flame-resistant capabilities.

Tumble drying should be performed on a low heat setting. Excessive heat in the drying process can cause shrinkage and may affect the elasticity of the stretch panels. When ironing, ensure the temperature does not exceed 150°C to maintain the fabric's integrity.

Finally, do not dry clean this garment. The solvents used in dry cleaning can leave residues or strip away the natural qualities of the cotton blend, which may affect the overall performance of the coverall.
