Product Overview

The WX2 Eco Insulated Jacket is a masterclass in combining environmental responsibility with functional workwear. This garment is constructed from recycled woven fabric, specifically engineered to provide exceptional thermal insulation for those working in demanding environments. Designed with the professional in mind, it offers a sophisticated black finish that maintains a professional appearance while delivering the heat retention required for outdoor tasks in the British winter.

Key Features
  • Recycled Woven Fabric: Offers a sustainable choice for your business without sacrificing the warmth or durability required for daily use.
  • Integrated Chin Guard: Provides an extra layer of protection against the elements, preventing zip irritation and keeping the wind at bay for improved comfort.
  • Elasticated Cuffs: These ensure a secure fit at the wrists, effectively trapping heat inside the garment and preventing cold drafts from entering the sleeves.
  • Multiple Pockets: With both internal and external storage options, you can keep essential tools and personal items secure and easily accessible throughout the working day.

Design & Performance

This jacket has been designed for both comfort and longevity. The choice of a recycled woven material ensures that the garment remains substantial and sturdy, capable of withstanding the rigours of a busy site. The insulation is distributed evenly to ensure no cold spots occur, providing a consistent level of warmth that is essential for maintaining productivity during the colder months. The fit is generous enough to allow for a full range of movement, which is critical for professionals who are constantly active.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The WX2 Eco Insulated Jacket is an excellent canvas for your company branding. For a superior, professional finish, we recommend embroidery. Our in-house team in Telford uses high-precision machinery to ensure your logo or staff names are rendered with absolute clarity and a premium feel. If you require large-scale branding for high visibility, our printing services offer a bold and durable alternative. Having operated since 1976, we have the technical expertise to ensure your brand is represented perfectly on this insulated fabric.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideal for a wide range of sectors, including construction, logistics, and site management. Its professional aesthetic makes it equally suitable for client-facing roles and active outdoor work where staying warm is a non-negotiable priority.

Why MyWorkwear

Established in 1976, MyWorkwear has decades of experience in providing high-quality, customised garments. We operate from our base in Telford, where our expert team handles every stage of the customisation process. When you choose us, you are benefiting from nearly half a century of technical knowledge and a commitment to high standards of British craftsmanship.

Practical Advice

For the best results in extreme cold, we suggest layering this jacket over a moisture-wicking base layer and a medium-weight fleece. This layering system allows for better temperature regulation as the day warms up. As this is a 4XL garment, ensure you have accounted for the extra room required if you intend to wear heavy layers underneath.

Caring for your product

To ensure your WX2 Eco Insulated Jacket continues to perform at its best, regular and correct maintenance is vital. Maintaining the integrity of the recycled fibres ensures the jacket remains a reliable part of your workwear rotation for years to come.

Always refer to the specific wash instructions located on the internal label. Improper washing at excessive temperatures can cause the internal insulation to shift or clump, which will significantly reduce the jacket's thermal performance.

We recommend avoiding the use of bleach, as this can degrade the synthetic fibres and cause the black colour to fade, leading to a tired and unprofessional appearance. When drying, avoid direct high heat sources; air drying is preferred to maintain the structure of the woven fabric and ensure your custom embroidery or print remains in peak condition.
