Product Overview

The C184 Women's Coverall represents a professional evolution of the classic protective garment, specifically engineered to provide a superior fit for women in the workplace. This coverall moves away from the 'one size fits all' approach, offering a tailored silhouette that ensures comfort and ease of movement throughout the working day without sacrificing the rugged protection required by industrial environments.

Key Features

  • Tailored Women's Fit: Designed specifically for the female form to ensure maximum comfort and a professional appearance.
  • Kingsmill Polycotton Fabric: A high-performance blend that offers the breathability of cotton with the hard-wearing durability of polyester.
  • Zip Front Fastening: Provides a secure and quick method for dressing, designed for daily convenience.
  • Two Front Chest Pockets: Functional storage for essential small tools or communication devices, keeping them within easy reach.
  • Pre-shrunk Material: The fabric is treated to ensure it maintains its shape and size even after multiple wash cycles.

Design & Performance

Constructed from Kingsmill Polycotton, comprising 65% Polyester and 35% Cotton, this lightweight fabric is well-engineered for high-performance settings. The material choice is deliberate; it provides a soft touch against the skin while maintaining enough structural integrity to withstand the friction and abrasion of manual labour. A standout feature of this garment is its superior dye retention, which prevents the navy colour from fading into a tired grey after a few weeks on the job.

Furthermore, because the fabric is fully pre-shrunk, you can be confident that the fit you choose on day one will be the fit you have on day one hundred. This stability is crucial for workwear that needs to perform as a reliable tool in your professional kit.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The C184 is a versatile canvas for your company's branding. For those seeking a long-lasting, sophisticated finish, embroidery is the preferred choice for chest-mounted logos or staff names. It provides a three-dimensional, professional appearance that stands up exceptionally well to frequent industrial laundering.

If your branding requirements involve larger, more complex graphics on the back of the coverall, our high-quality print services offer a sharp and vibrant alternative. Our in-house team in Telford has been handling professional customisation since 1976, ensuring that your logo is applied with the precision and technical expertise that your business deserves.

Use Cases

This coverall is an essential piece of equipment for women working across various trades. It is particularly well-suited for professionals in construction, plumbing, and electrical work where protection from dust and debris is paramount. The streamlined fit also makes it an excellent choice for mechanics and tree surgeons who require a garment that won't snag or become overly bulky during technical manoeuvres.

Why MyWorkwear

Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been a trusted partner for businesses across the UK. Operating from our technical hub in Telford, we combine decades of heritage with modern customisation techniques. We don't just supply clothing; we provide well-engineered workwear solutions that help your team look the part and stay protected.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, consider what you will be wearing beneath the coverall. While this is a dedicated women's fit designed to be less baggy than traditional overalls, you should allow enough room for comfortable layering over light work trousers or base layers. If you are between sizes, we recommend opting for the larger size to ensure full range of motion when reaching or kneeling.

Caring for your product

To maintain the performance of the Kingsmill fabric, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C using a mild process. This ensures that the garment is hygienically cleaned while protecting the integrity of the polyester-cotton fibres and any applied customisation.

Do not use bleach on this garment. Bleaching agents will strip the dye and weaken the fabric structure, significantly reducing the lifespan of your workwear. For drying, a normal tumble dry cycle is suitable, though we suggest drip line drying where possible to help the garment retain its shape and minimise the need for ironing.

If the garment requires pressing, use an iron at a maximum temperature of 150°C. Avoid high-heat settings that could damage the synthetic fibres. Finally, do not dry clean this coverall, as the harsh chemicals used in the process can degrade the fabric and any professional branding.
