Product Overview
The Women's 3-in-1 Jacket is a sophisticated and highly versatile outerwear solution specifically engineered for the modern professional. Designed with a contemporary silhouette, this jacket offers a flattering fit without compromising on the heavy-duty protection required for outdoor work. Its 3-in-1 construction allows the wearer to adapt seamlessly to shifting weather conditions, combining a robust waterproof outer shell with a removable microfleece lining. This modular approach ensures that you remain comfortable, dry, and professional-looking, whether you are on a site visit in mid-winter or navigating a breezy spring morning.
Key Features
- Waterproof, Windproof, and Breathable: The technical fabric construction provides a complete barrier against the elements while allowing moisture to escape, keeping you dry from both rain and perspiration.
- Exposed Waterproof Zips: These functional components prevent water ingress through traditionally vulnerable points while adding a modern, sleek aesthetic to the garment's design.
- Removable Microfleece Lining: This soft, medium-weight inner layer can be worn independently or zipped into the shell for maximum thermal insulation.
- EN 343 Class 3:1 Certification: This garment meets rigorous European standards for rain protection, providing peace of mind that it will perform in demanding conditions.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a durable 100% Polyester Pongee shell with a PVC coating, this jacket is built to withstand the rigours of daily corporate and field use. The Pongee fabric is chosen for its smooth finish and resistance to tearing, while the PVC coating provides an essential waterproof seal. Inside, the 100% Polyester Taffeta lining allows the jacket to glide easily over other garments, preventing the 'bunching' often associated with multi-layered workwear.
Performance is further enhanced by the garment's breathability. By balancing weatherproofing with air permeability, the jacket prevents the build-up of heat during physical activity. The tailoring is specifically designed for a female fit, ensuring a professional appearance that doesn't feel bulky or restrictive during the working day.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
At MyWorkwear, we understand that your uniform is an extension of your brand. This jacket is excellently suited for both print and embroidery. Our Telford-based team, who have been perfecting their craft since 1976, handles all customisation in-house to ensure a superior finish.
For a traditional and highly durable professional look, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names on the chest or sleeves. If you require large, bold branding that needs to stand out from a distance, our high-quality printing process is the ideal choice. Both methods are applied with precision to ensure they do not compromise the jacket's waterproof integrity.
Use Cases
This jacket is an essential equipment choice for corporate staff who split their time between the office and outdoor sites. It is equally suited for logistics managers, surveyors, and customer-facing teams who require a uniform that looks as good as it performs. Because of its 3-in-1 nature, it is the only jacket many workers will need to cover all four seasons.
Why MyWorkwear
Choosing MyWorkwear means partnering with a company that has nearly half a century of expertise. Established in 1976, we have grown from a small operation to a leading UK provider of high-quality workwear. Our team in Telford uses their deep technical knowledge to ensure every garment we customise meets our exacting standards, providing you with workwear that lasts as long as your business does.
Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider how you intend to wear the jacket. If you frequently plan to wear the microfleece and shell together over thick knitwear, you may wish to allow for extra room. The 3-in-1 system is most effective when layered correctly; use the microfleece as a thermal mid-layer and the shell as your primary weather protection.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the technical performance of your jacket is vital for its longevity. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. This ensures the dirt is removed without degrading the waterproof PVC coating or the adhesive used in printed customisation.
Bleaching agents should be avoided at all costs. Bleach will cause irreparable damage to the polyester fibres and will strip the waterproof coating from the shell, rendering the jacket ineffective in the rain.
To preserve the shape and technical properties of the fabric, do not tumble dry. Instead, we advise drip line drying. High heat from a tumble dryer can melt the synthetic fibres and damage the waterproof zips.
Ironing is not permitted for this garment. The heat from an iron will likely melt the PVC coating and the polyester shell. Finally, avoid dry cleaning, as the harsh chemicals used in the process will dissolve the waterproofing treatments and damage any custom branding.
