Product Overview

The Steelite TaskForce Boot S3 HRO is a meticulously engineered piece of safety footwear designed to provide an authoritative presence without sacrificing the physical well-being of the wearer. Meeting the EN ISO 20345: 2011 S3 standard, this boot is constructed for professionals who demand both protection and longevity. The integration of a water-resistant upper and a heat-resistant outsole makes it a versatile choice for a variety of challenging environments, from the parade ground to the commercial kitchen.

Key Features
  • Heat Resistant EVA/Rubber Outsole: The cemented outsole is designed to withstand contact with temperatures that would compromise standard footwear, ensuring durability in extreme conditions.
  • Water-Resistant Upper: Crafted from action leather and mesh, the upper provides a reliable barrier against moisture, keeping your feet dry and comfortable during outdoor tasks.
  • Breathable Inner Lining: This feature ensures a consistent internal climate, reducing moisture build-up and enhancing comfort during extended shifts.
  • S3 HRO Safety Rating: This certification guarantees a high level of protection, including impact resistance, puncture protection, and a heat-resistant outsole.

Design & Performance

The architecture of the TaskForce boot focuses on structural integrity and wearer endurance. By utilizing a combination of action leather and breathable mesh, the boot offers a substantial, sturdy feel while remaining flexible enough for active movement. The EVA/Rubber outsole is specifically chosen for its shock-absorbing properties, which significantly reduces fatigue during long durations on your feet. The cemented construction ensures a permanent bond between the upper and the sole, providing a reliable foundation for those working in high-pressure security or industrial roles.

Why No Customisation?

As a specialised piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certified to specific safety standards, the Steelite TaskForce Boot is supplied without customisation. Any alteration to the boot's surface, such as embroidery or heat-applied branding, could compromise the water-resistant properties of the leather or interfere with the integrity of the safety materials. To ensure your protection remains uncompromised and compliant with safety regulations, we provide this product in its original, high-specification state.

Use Cases

While originally designed with military and security personnel in mind, the TaskForce boot is equally suited for the rigours of the hospitality and catering industries. Its slip-resistant and heat-resistant properties make it an excellent choice for chefs and kitchen staff, as well as butchers and bakers who require a robust, protective boot that can handle the demands of a professional environment.

Practical Advice

When choosing your size, it is worth remembering that your feet may swell slightly during a long day of standing. We recommend pairing these boots with a high-quality pair of work socks to provide additional cushioning and moisture management. If you are typically between sizes, opting for the larger size can often provide a more comfortable experience during a twelve-hour shift.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-performance standards of your TaskForce boots, regular cleaning is essential. Remove surface dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth to prevent the action leather from drying out and losing its water-resistant properties over time.

Should your boots become particularly wet, they must be allowed to dry naturally in a ventilated area. We strongly advise against placing them on or near a radiator, as excessive heat can cause the leather to become brittle and may eventually weaken the adhesive bond of the cemented outsole.

By keeping the mesh sections clear of debris, you ensure the breathable lining can continue to function effectively, keeping your feet comfortable and maintaining the internal health of the boot for the duration of its lifespan.
