Product Overview
Protection in noisy environments is a necessity, not an optional extra. The EP04ORR Reusable Corded TPR Ear Plugs are engineered to provide consistent, reliable hearing protection for professionals across a wide variety of high-decibel industries. This box contains 50 pairs, each individually packaged for hygiene and convenience. The hallmark of this design is its adaptability; rather than a one-size-fits-some approach, these plugs use advanced thermo-plastic rubber to provide a bespoke feel for almost every user.
Key Features
- Thermo-Plastic Rubber (TPR) construction: This heat-reactive material softens and moulds to the specific contours of your ear canal within minutes of insertion, ensuring a superior seal and personalised fit.
- Integrated Polyester cord: The durable cord prevents the loss of ear plugs during breaks or when moving between areas of varying noise levels, keeping them conveniently around your neck.
- Individually packaged: Each pair is supplied in its own hygienic polybag, which protects the material from dust and contaminants before use.
- Improved ergonomic shape: The refined design enhances comfort for long-term wear while simultaneously improving attenuation performance to better dampen harmful frequencies.
- Fitting instructions included: Clear guidance is provided with every pair to ensure the user achieves the correct insertion depth for maximum protection.
Design & Performance
The EP04ORR is designed for the rigours of daily professional use. Unlike disposable foam plugs that can feel abrasive or lose their shape quickly, these TPR plugs are supple yet resilient. The lightweight fabric cord is long enough to drape comfortably over shoulders without snagging on other PPE. Because the material reacts to the natural warmth of the body, the ear plugs become more comfortable the longer they are worn, reducing the likelihood of 'ear fatigue' during long shifts. The bright orange colour is a deliberate choice, allowing for quick visual compliance checks by safety officers on site.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation on this product for several practical and safety-related reasons. Firstly, as a piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) designed for insertion into the ear canal, any addition of inks or embroidery threads could introduce allergens or compromise the hygienic integrity of the product. Furthermore, the small surface area and flexible nature of TPR are not suited to standard branding techniques. We provide these as-is to ensure they meet their specified safety performance without interference.
Use Cases
These ear plugs are an essential requirement for professionals in high-noise sectors. They are particularly well-suited for construction workers operating heavy machinery, carpenters using power tools, and mechanics in busy garages. They are also widely utilised in the aviation industry, by electricians in industrial settings, and by tree surgeons or welders where constant environmental noise is a factor.

Practical Advice
To achieve the best protection, always follow the included fitting instructions. Reach over your head with the opposite hand to pull the top of your ear upwards and backwards; this straightens the ear canal and allows the plug to sit deeply enough to create a proper seal. For those working in particularly high-noise environments, these can be worn in conjunction with ear defenders for double-layered protection.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the hygiene of reusable ear plugs is vital to prevent ear infections and ensure the material remains effective. We recommend cleaning the TPR plugs after each shift using mild soap and warm water. This removes earwax and skin oils that can cause the material to harden over time. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or solvents, as these can degrade the thermo-plastic rubber and reduce its ability to mould to your ear.
After washing, ensure the ear plugs are completely air-dried before storing them back in a clean container or bag. Storing them while damp can encourage the growth of bacteria. With proper care, these plugs will maintain their shape and attenuation properties significantly longer than single-use alternatives.
