Product Overview
The EP23 Easy Fit TPR Ear Plugs provide a professional solution for hearing protection in high-noise environments. Supplied as a generous pack of 50 pairs in a dedicated cardboard dispenser, these ear plugs are designed for businesses that prioritise both staff safety and hygiene. Each pair is individually housed in a resealable polybag, ensuring they remain uncontaminated until needed. The inclusion of a sturdy cord ensures that the plugs remain securely with the user, even when removed momentarily, reducing the risk of loss and improving workplace efficiency.
Key Features
- Durable TPR Construction: Made from soft thermoplastic rubber, these plugs are both resilient and comfortable, allowing for long-term wear without the irritation often caused by disposable foam alternatives.
- Excellent Attenuation: Certified with an SNR of 28dB, they provide significant noise reduction, shielding the wearer from the harmful decibel levels found in industrial and mechanical sectors.
- Hygienic Resealable Packaging: Every pair is individually wrapped to maintain cleanliness, which is essential for any equipment inserted into the ear canal.
- Integrated Safety Cord: The handy cord allows for quick removal and keeps the plugs accessible around the neck, preventing them from falling into machinery or onto dirty surfaces.
- Easy Fit Design: The ergonomic shape is engineered for effortless insertion and removal, ensuring a secure seal is achieved every time.
Design & Performance
The design of the EP23 focuses on the marriage of durability and user comfort. Unlike standard single-use plugs, the TPR material used here is substantial and sturdy, designed to maintain its shape and protective properties throughout the day. The cord is constructed from a lightweight yet reliable material that does not distract the wearer, while the ABS and PVC components ensure the entire assembly can withstand the rigours of a busy workshop.
Performance is verified through rigorous testing, meeting the EN 352-2 standard. This ensures that the protection levels are consistent across the entire batch. The 'Easy Fit' nature of the product means that users can achieve the required level of protection without the constant need for adjustment, making them a dependable choice for safety-critical roles.
Why No Customisation?
Due to the nature of this product as a piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and its intended use inside the ear canal, we do not offer customisation on this item. Applying inks or embroidery would not only be impractical but could also compromise the hygienic integrity and safety certifications of the ear plugs. We provide these as-is to ensure they perform exactly as the safety standards dictate.
Use Cases
These ear plugs are an essential requirement for professionals in a variety of sectors. They are highly recommended for construction workers, plumbers, and electricians working around power tools. Furthermore, they are perfectly suited for mechanics, aviation ground crew, welders, and tree surgeons who are frequently exposed to loud, persistent noise levels that could cause long-term hearing damage.

Practical Advice
To achieve the best possible noise reduction, ensure your hands are clean before touching the ear plugs. Reach over your head with one hand to pull the ear upwards and outwards while inserting the plug with the other hand. This helps to straighten the ear canal and ensures the TPR material creates a complete seal against noise. If you find the cord is catching on other PPE, such as a helmet or visor, ensure it is tucked neatly inside your collar.
Caring for your product
Proper care is essential to maintain the hygienic properties and performance of your ear plugs. We recommend cleaning the plugs at the end of each shift with mild soap and warm water. This prevents the build-up of earwax and debris, which can cause skin irritation and degrade the TPR material over time.
It is important to avoid using harsh chemical solvents or alcohol-based cleaners, as these can cause the material to become brittle or lose its elasticity. A brittle ear plug will not create an effective seal and may become uncomfortable. After washing, allow the plugs to air dry naturally and completely before storing them back in their individual resealable polybag to keep them ready for the next use.
