Product Overview
The EP12ORR Easy Fit Corded Ear Plugs are a professional-grade solution for hearing protection in high-decibel environments. Supplied in a bulk quantity of 200 pairs, these orange ear plugs are designed for rapid and hygienic deployment. Unlike standard foam ear plugs that require manual rolling—often with soiled hands—these plugs feature an innovative ergonomic handle. This design allows the user to insert the plug directly into the ear canal, maintaining a high standard of hygiene while ensuring a consistent, secure fit every time.
Key Features
SNR 37dB Attenuation: Offers a high level of noise reduction, ensuring that hearing is protected against hazardous industrial sounds and heavy machinery.
Ergonomic Handle: Allows for easy and hygienic insertion and removal, removing the need to roll the foam between fingers before use.
Corded for Convenience: The integrated PVC cord allows the plugs to be worn around the neck during breaks, reducing the risk of loss and preventing them from falling into machinery or onto dirty surfaces.
Soft PU Foam: Constructed from lightweight polyurethane foam that provides a soft, comfortable seal within the ear for extended wear throughout the working day.
Certification: Fully compliant with EN 352-2 standards, providing peace of mind that the safety specifications are rigorously tested.
Design & Performance
The performance of these ear plugs is rooted in the quality of the PU foam. This material is designed to be substantial enough to block high-frequency noise yet soft enough to conform to various ear canal shapes without causing pressure points. The 'Easy Fit' design is specifically engineered for workers who may need to insert or remove their hearing protection frequently; the handle provides a tactile point of contact that ensures the plug is seated correctly for maximum attenuation. At a lightweight overall weight for the entire box, they are easy to transport and store on-site.
Why No Customisation?
As these ear plugs are classified as essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are designed for single-use hygiene, they are not suitable for customisation. Any application of print or embroidery would not only be impractical due to the small surface area and foam material but could also compromise the material integrity and the hygienic nature of the product. We provide these in their standard high-visibility orange to ensure compliance and easy identification on-site.
Use Cases
These ear plugs are an essential requirement for a wide range of trades. They are particularly effective for construction workers, plumbers, and electricians working with power tools. They are also ideally suited for tree surgeons, mechanics, and those working in aviation or welding environments where noise levels frequently exceed safe thresholds.

Practical Advice
For the most effective protection, ensure the ear plug is inserted firmly using the handle. Although no rolling is required, a slight wiggle during insertion can help the foam seat more effectively against the ear canal wall. If you are wearing a helmet or face shield, ensure the cord is positioned so it does not snag on your other safety equipment.
Caring for your product
To maintain the effectiveness of your hearing protection, these ear plugs should be treated as single-use items. Reusing them can lead to a buildup of earwax and bacteria, which can cause ear infections. Furthermore, the PU foam will lose its ability to form a perfect seal after repeated use, which would reduce the SNR 37dB protection level.
The bulk box should be stored in a cool, dry environment. Avoid exposing the ear plugs to direct sunlight or moisture for prolonged periods before use, as this can degrade the polyurethane foam and affect its expansion properties. Always ensure your hands are as clean as possible when handling the plugs to maintain the hygiene of the ear canal.
