Product Overview

The PW3 Modaflame Work HVO Class 1 FR Holster Trousers represent a significant advancement in protective workwear engineering. Designed specifically for environments where flame resistance and high visibility are non-negotiable, these trousers combine safety with a level of flexibility rarely seen in traditional flame-resistant garments. The use of innovative two-way stretch fabric allows for a superior range of motion, ensuring that safety requirements do not come at the expense of comfort or productivity on the job site.

Key Features
  • High-Performance Two-Way Stretch Fabric: This material provides maximum range of movement, allowing you to bend and reach without the restriction often felt in standard work trousers.
  • Zip-Removable Holster Pockets: These multi-functional pockets offer the convenience of carrying tools directly on your person, with the option to remove them entirely when they are not required for specific tasks.
  • Top-Loading Kneepad Pockets: Positioned for ease of use, these pockets allow for the quick insertion of protection, essential for those spending extended periods working on their knees.
  • Secure Thigh Pocket: Designed for easy access, this pocket provides a safe location for essential items such as mobile phones, keys, and precision tools.
  • Flame-Resistant Reinforcement: Strategically placed at key abrasion points, this reinforcement significantly increases the lifespan of the garment in high-friction areas.

Design & Performance

The design philosophy behind these trousers focuses on durability without bulk. The innovative Modaflame fabric is engineered to be a substantial, sturdy material that provides reliable flame resistance while maintaining a breathable, flexible feel. This performance is further enhanced by the orange and black colour scheme, which ensures Class 1 high-visibility compliance for safety in low-light environments.

Beyond the safety specifications, the trousers are built for the rigours of daily trade work. Every seam and attachment point is constructed to withstand the pressures of a busy site, while the stretch elements ensure the fabric returns to its original shape, preventing the sagging often associated with lesser workwear.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

Maintaining a professional brand image is straightforward with these trousers. Our Telford-based facility, established in 1976, is equipped to handle both print and embroidery to the highest standards. For these specific trousers, we recommend embroidery for company logos or staff names to achieve a sophisticated, long-lasting finish that stands up well to frequent laundering. If your requirement involves larger, high-impact branding, our printing services provide a bold and clear alternative that integrates seamlessly with the garment's high-visibility properties.

Use Cases

These trousers are primarily designed for professionals working in sectors such as rail, utilities, and heavy industry where flame-resistant (FR) and high-visibility (HVO) clothing is a mandatory safety requirement. They are equally suited for engineers, electricians, and site supervisors who require versatile storage and unrestricted movement throughout their shift.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage stretching back to 1976, MyWorkwear has decades of experience in providing technical garments that meet stringent safety standards. Operating from our specialised facility in Telford, our expert team ensures that every piece of customisation is executed with precision, helping your team look professional while remaining fully protected by industry-leading equipment.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, consider the layering you may require during colder months. While the two-way stretch provides a forgiving fit, ensuring you have enough room for base layers will maintain the garment's thermal performance. We also recommend removing the holster pockets when laundered separately to ensure the zips and fabric remain in optimal condition.

Caring for your product

To maintain the protective properties and the integrity of the flame-resistant finish, it is vital to follow the correct care procedures. Regular domestic laundering at recommended temperatures will ensure that the high-visibility elements remain clear and effective for the life of the garment.

Avoid the use of industrial bleaching agents, as these can strip the flame-resistant treatments from the fabric fibres, potentially compromising your safety. Always dry the garment naturally where possible; excessive heat in a tumble dryer can cause unnecessary stress on the stretch fibres and the reflective tape.

When ironing, take care to avoid direct contact with any printed branding or reflective strips to prevent damage. Proper care ensures your investment remains a reliable piece of safety equipment for years to come.
