Product Overview
The Hi-Vis Contrast Rain Lite Traffic Jacket is a well-engineered solution for professionals who require high visibility without the burden of a heavy, cumbersome outer layer. This two-tone jacket is designed to provide reliable protection against the elements while maintaining a lightweight profile that facilitates ease of movement throughout the working day. Its Yellow and Navy design ensures the wearer remains conspicuous in various lighting conditions, making it an essential component of a safety-first workwear wardrobe.
Key Features
- Integrated Radio Loop: Provides a secure and accessible point to attach communication devices, ensuring you remain connected while keeping your hands free for the task at hand.
- Deep Roomy Pockets: Offers ample storage space for tools and personal items, ensuring essential equipment is always within reach.
- Adjustable Cuffs: Allows the wearer to achieve a secure fit around the wrists, helping to prevent wind and rain from entering the sleeves.
- Twin-Stitched Critical Seams: Reinforced stitching at high-stress points significantly enhances the garment's longevity and prevents premature wear in demanding environments.
Design & Performance
The jacket is constructed from a robust 150D Oxford weave polyester, which is enhanced with a PVC coating to provide a dependable barrier against rain and wind. Despite its protective qualities, the fabric remains lightweight, preventing wearer fatigue during long shifts. The interior features a 100% polyester mesh lining, which promotes airflow and breathability, preventing the build-up of moisture inside the garment.
The contrast navy panels are strategically placed in areas prone to soiling, helping the jacket maintain a professional appearance for longer between washes. This thoughtful design ensures that the garment remains functional and presentable even in challenging outdoor settings.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This jacket is ideally suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align the garment with your corporate identity. Embroidery is a superior choice for displaying company logos and staff names, providing a durable and highly professional finish that withstands the rigours of daily wear. For those requiring large, bold branding or high-contrast safety messaging, our high-quality printing process ensures your design is visible and sharp.
Our expert in-house team in Telford has been perfecting these techniques since 1976, ensuring that every piece of customised workwear meets our exacting standards for quality and precision.
Use Cases
This jacket is specifically designed for individuals working in traffic management, logistics, and site supervision. It is particularly effective for those who are frequently moving between indoor and outdoor environments or working in regions with unpredictable weather. The lightweight construction also makes it a sensible choice for spring and autumn months when a heavy winter coat would be excessive.

Practical Advice
As this is a lightweight rain jacket, we recommend layering it over a fleece or sweatshirt during colder months to maintain thermal comfort. The generous fit allows for easy layering without restricting movement. When selecting your size, consider the garments you intend to wear underneath to ensure the best possible fit.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the integrity of the high-visibility fabric and the protective PVC coating is essential for your safety and the longevity of the garment.
We recommend a mild wash process at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the polyester fibres and degrade the reflective properties of the tape. To preserve the jacket's structure and performance, please avoid the use of bleach, which can weaken the fabric and cause discolouration.
This garment should not be tumble dried; instead, it should be drip-lined dried to ensure it retains its shape and to prevent the PVC coating from cracking under heat. Ironing is not permitted, as direct heat will melt the waterproof coating and the reflective elements. Furthermore, the jacket is not suitable for dry cleaning, as the chemicals used can strip away the protective finish.
Please note that this jacket is rated for a maximum of 25 washes. Beyond this point, the reflective materials may no longer meet the required safety standards, and the garment should be replaced to ensure continued protection.
