Product Overview
The PW3 Hi-Vis Technical Fleece is a masterclass in modern workwear engineering, designed for those who require high visibility without sacrificing style or comfort. This garment is part of the renowned PW3 range, known for its distinctive design and focus on performance. It combines high-quality knitted fleece with contrast panels and HiVisTex Pro reflective tape, ensuring you remain visible and professional in equal measure.
Key Features
- HiVisTex Pro Segmented Reflective Tape: This heat-sealed tape allows for increased freedom of movement compared to traditional solid tapes, ensuring you are not restricted while working.
- Adjustable Hood: Provides an extra layer of protection against the elements, allowing for a custom fit to keep the wind and cold at bay.
- Three Outer Pockets: Ample storage space for essential tools and personal items, keeping them secure and within easy reach throughout the day.
- Reinforced Shoulders: Added durability in heavy-use areas ensures the garment withstands the rigours of carrying materials or equipment without premature wear.
- Bound Cuffs: Provides a secure and comfortable fit, helping to retain body heat and prevent drafts from entering the sleeves.
Design & Performance
The core of this garment is its substantial 100% polyester knitted fleece. The brushed back finish on the interior provides a soft touch against the skin and traps air to maintain warmth, making it an ideal choice for cooler conditions. Despite its sturdy and heavy-weight feel, the fabric remains breathable for all-day comfort.
The contrast panels are constructed from a technical blend of polyester and elastane, laminated to a micro-fleece. This three-layer construction provides additional resilience and flexibility where it is needed most. The combination of these materials ensures the fleece holds its shape and performs reliably, shift after shift.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This technical fleece is perfectly suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align your team's appearance with your brand identity. Embroidery is the ideal choice for creating a superior, long-lasting finish for company logos or staff names, offering a three-dimensional texture that looks exceptionally professional.
For larger, high-impact branding, our printing services provide a bold and clear finish. Our in-house customisation team, based in Telford and established since 1976, utilizes the latest technology to ensure your branding is applied with precision, maintaining the integrity of the high-visibility elements.
Use Cases
The PW3 Technical Fleece is designed for professionals in sectors such as construction, roadworks, logistics, and site management. It is particularly effective for those working in environments where high-visibility certification is mandatory, but where the wearer also needs protection from the cold and the flexibility to move freely.

Practical Advice
This fleece is designed with a generous fit, making it an excellent outer layer over a t-shirt or base layer. When selecting your size, particularly in this 4XL option, consider the layers you intend to wear underneath to ensure maximum comfort and range of motion. The adjustable hood is particularly useful when working in exposed, windy conditions.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and structural integrity of this fleece, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. Failure to do so can degrade the reflective properties of the tape and shorten the lifespan of the garment.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. This ensures the fabric is cleaned effectively without damaging the fibres or the heat-sealed reflective tape.
Do not use bleach under any circumstances, as this will destroy the orange pigment and compromise the safety standards of the hi-vis fabric. The garment should not be tumble dried; instead, dry it flat to help it retain its shape and prevent shrinkage.
Do not iron this fleece. High heat from an iron can melt the polyester fibres and the reflective tape, rendering the garment unsafe for use. Similarly, do not dry clean, as the chemicals used in the process can interfere with the technical properties of the fabric and the adhesive used for the tape.
