Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear beneath these trousers. As they are designed to be worn as an outer layer in wet conditions, you may wish to ensure there is sufficient room for base layers or thermal leggings. The side leg zips are a particularly useful feature for those who wear substantial safety boots, allowing the trousers to be pulled on quickly when a sudden downpour occurs.
Caring for your product
To maintain the technical performance of your rain trousers, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High-temperature washes can damage the PU membrane and degrade the adhesive properties of the reflective tape.
Bleaching agents should be strictly avoided as they will strip the high-visibility pigment and compromise the fabric's integrity. After washing, the garment should be drip-lined dried. Do not use a tumble dryer, as the heat can cause the waterproof coating to peel or crack.
Do not iron these trousers, as direct heat will melt the synthetic fibres and the reflective tape. Similarly, dry cleaning is not recommended as the solvents used can dissolve the waterproof membrane. Please note that this garment is rated for a maximum of 25 washes; exceeding this limit may result in the reflective tape no longer meeting the necessary safety standards.
