Caring for your product
To ensure this garment continues to meet safety standards and maintains its professional appearance, it is essential to follow the prescribed care instructions. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum of 40°C using a mild process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the adhesive bond of the reflective tape and lead to premature fabric wear.
Do not use bleach under any circumstances; the chemicals will destroy the fluorescent dyes in the fabric and the reflective glass beads in the tape, rendering the garment non-compliant with safety regulations. Drip line drying is the only recommended drying method, as the high heat of a tumble dryer can cause the segmented tape to peel or crack.
Ironing must be avoided entirely, as the direct heat will melt the reflective elements and synthetic fibres. This garment is rated for a maximum of 50 washes; beyond this point, we recommend replacing the item as the high-visibility properties may no longer provide the level of protection required by safety standards.
