Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and longevity of this gilet, it is essential to follow the technical care instructions provided. Proper maintenance ensures the insulation remains effective and the outer fabric retains its water-resistant properties.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a normal process. This temperature is sufficient to remove dirt while protecting the integrity of the microfibre shell and the anti-static treatment.
Do not use bleach when cleaning this garment. Bleaching agents can cause the synthetic fibres to become brittle and will likely damage the water-resistant coating and the internal padding.
This gilet should not be tumble dried. High heat from a dryer can cause the polyester wadding to clump or melt, which would significantly reduce the garment's thermal efficiency. Instead, the item should be line dried to allow it to return to its original shape naturally.
Ironing is not permitted on this garment. The high heat of an iron will melt the 300T microfibre shell and the nylon lining, causing permanent damage. Furthermore, do not dry clean this gilet, as the chemicals used in the process can degrade the technical finishes of the fabric.
