Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and professional appearance of your gilet, it is essential to follow the recommended care instructions. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C on a normal process. Exceeding this temperature can damage the synthetic fibres and the thermal wadding, leading to a loss of shape and insulation properties.
Do not use bleach when cleaning this garment, as harsh chemicals will degrade the water-resistant finish and compromise the integrity of the microfibre shell. This gilet should not be tumble dried; instead, it should be line dried to preserve the loft of the insulation and the structure of the baffles.
Ironing and dry cleaning must be avoided entirely. High heat from an iron can melt the polyester shell and flatten the internal wadding, while dry cleaning chemicals may strip away the essential anti-static and water-resistant treatments that make this gilet so effective in the field.
