Product Overview

The 2786 Solitude recycled hooded bodywarmer (TS004) represents a sophisticated approach to sustainable workwear. Engineered for professionals who require thermal regulation without the restriction of a full jacket, this garment is constructed entirely from 100% recycled materials. The design features a modern chevron side quilting which serves to both secure the insulation and provide a streamlined, professional silhouette. It is an ideal mid-layer or outer garment for those who value environmental responsibility alongside practical performance.

Key Features
  • 100% Recycled Materials: The outer, filling, and lining are all derived from recycled sources, allowing your business to meet sustainability targets without compromising on quality.
  • Adjustable Three-Panel Hood: Features integrated toggles that allow the wearer to secure the hood against wind and rain, providing essential protection for outdoor work.
  • Customisable Hem: Adjustable toggles at the hem allow for a personalised fit, effectively sealing in heat and preventing draughts in colder conditions.
  • Secure Storage Solutions: Equipped with two external side pockets and one internal pocket, providing ample space for tools, mobile devices, or personal items.
  • Full Front Zip with Recycled Puller: A high-quality full-length zip allows for easy ventilation and is finished with a removable recycled puller for a cohesive look.

Design & Performance

This bodywarmer is designed to provide a medium-weight feel that offers significant warmth without excessive bulk. The outer shell is crafted from a lightweight recycled nylon which provides a smooth, durable surface, while the interior is packed with a medium-weight recycled polyester filling. The chevron side quilting is a technical choice that ensures the insulation remains evenly distributed, preventing cold spots during active use. The tagless design and three-panel hood further enhance comfort, ensuring no irritation during long shifts.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Solitude bodywarmer is an excellent candidate for corporate branding. We recommend embroidery for chest-placed logos or staff names; the dense stitching creates a superior, durable finish that communicates authority and professionalism. For larger, more complex graphics on the rear of the garment, our high-definition print techniques are highly effective. All customisation is performed by our expert team in Telford, drawing on our heritage in the industry since 1976 to ensure your brand is represented accurately.

Use Cases

This garment is perfectly suited for site managers, logistical staff, and tradespeople who move frequently between indoor and outdoor environments. Its sleeveless design allows for full range of motion, making it ideal for manual tasks where core warmth is required. It also serves as a high-quality option for sustainable corporate gifting or as part of a modern, environmentally conscious uniform.

Why MyWorkwear

MyWorkwear has been a cornerstone of the UK workwear market since 1976. Operating from our specialised facility in Telford, we combine decades of technical expertise with a commitment to quality. When you choose us, you are partnering with experts who understand that your workwear is an essential tool of your trade.

Practical Advice

When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear beneath the bodywarmer. If you typically wear heavy sweatshirts or thick jumpers, you may find that the size providing a slightly more generous fit is preferable to ensure ease of movement. The adjustable hem and hood toggles should be utilised to 'dial in' the fit once your layers are in place.

Caring for your product

To maintain the thermal properties and appearance of this recycled garment, it should be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle setting. High temperatures can damage the recycled synthetic fibres and cause the filling to clump, which will reduce the garment's insulation effectiveness.

Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleaching agents will degrade the recycled nylon outer fabric and cause significant discolouration, undermining the professional appearance of your branded workwear.

If ironing is necessary, use a low temperature setting only. Excessive heat from an iron can melt the recycled components, leading to permanent damage to both the outer fabric and the internal padding.

This product should not be tumble dried or dry cleaned. The mechanical heat of a dryer can cause the garment to lose its shape and loft. Instead, air dry the bodywarmer to ensure it retains its structure and continues to provide reliable warmth.
