Product Overview

The Hi-Vis Contrast Winter Traffic Jacket is a well-engineered solution for professionals working in demanding environments where visibility and weather protection are non-negotiable. Featuring a sophisticated two-tone design in Orange and Black, this jacket combines technical performance with a professional appearance. It is constructed with fully taped waterproof seams, ensuring it remains a market leader for those requiring reliable protection against the elements while maintaining high visibility standards.

Key Features

  • Fully taped seams provide a complete waterproof barrier, preventing moisture ingress even in heavy rain.
  • The 300D Oxford weave polyester shell is exceptionally durable and resistant to the rigours of daily site work.
  • A stain-resistant finish helps the garment repel oil and dirt, maintaining a cleaner appearance for longer.
  • The double PU coating enhances the fabric's water resistance and windproof properties.
  • Insulated with a polyester filling to provide essential warmth during winter shifts.
  • High-visibility contrast design ensures you remain seen in low-light or high-traffic conditions.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a robust 300D Industry fabric, this jacket is designed to withstand the physical demands of outdoor trade work. The 100% polyester shell is a medium-weight material that offers a balance of protection and mobility. Inside, the jacket features a 100% polyester lining and a quilted filling, which provides significant thermal insulation without excessive bulk. The choice of 300D Oxford weave ensures the outer surface is abrasion-resistant, while the stain-resistant finish is a practical addition for anyone working around machinery or vehicles.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This jacket is an excellent canvas for both print and embroidery. Given the substantial nature of the outer shell, embroidery is a preferred choice for a professional finish, allowing for detailed corporate logos or staff names to be securely applied. If you require large-scale branding or high-impact graphics, our printing services provide a bold, sharp result. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility, drawing on nearly five decades of experience since 1976.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideally suited for traffic management, construction site supervision, and logistics personnel. Its high-visibility orange and contrasting black sections make it perfect for workers who need to be identified quickly while keeping dirt-prone areas of the garment looking tidy. It is a substantial garment designed for the cold, wet winter months in the UK.

Practical Advice

As this is an insulated winter jacket, it is designed with a generous fit to accommodate layering. If you intend to wear only a light polo shirt underneath, you may find your standard size offers ample room; however, if you frequently wear heavy fleeces or hoodies, the jacket's design naturally provides the necessary space. Consider the contrast black panels when placing your branding, as logos often pop more effectively against the high-visibility orange sections.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-visibility performance and waterproof integrity of this jacket, we recommend a mild wash process at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can degrade the PU coating and damage the reflective tape. This garment is rated for a maximum of 50 washes, after which its reflective properties may decline below safety standards.

Do not use bleach, as this will destroy the orange pigment and compromise the safety rating of the fabric. The jacket should be hung to drip dry; do not tumble dry, as the heat from a dryer can warp the technical fabrics and cause the waterproof seams to fail. Finally, do not iron or dry clean this garment, as the chemical and thermal stress will significantly reduce the lifespan of the waterproof and reflective components.
