Product Overview

The 2786 Fourteener box quilt jacket is a sophisticated piece of outerwear designed to provide significant insulation without compromising on style. This well-engineered garment features a contemporary box-quilt pattern that ensures the insulation remains evenly distributed, providing consistent warmth across the torso. Its comfortable fit and adjustable features make it an essential addition to any professional wardrobe during the cooler seasons. Whether you are transitioning between site visits or representing your business in the field, this jacket offers a refined appearance combined with practical performance.

Key Features
  • Insulated Box Quilt Design: The wide-baffle padding provides substantial warmth by trapping heat effectively within the garment.
  • Weather Protection: The showerproof nylon ripstop outer fabric offers a reliable barrier against light rain and wind.
  • Adjustable Comfort: Hook and loop cuffs and cord toggles at the hemline allow the wearer to lock in heat and customise the fit to their preference.
  • Secure Storage: Features two zipped side pockets and an internal pocket for the safe keeping of tools or mobile devices.
  • Embroidery Access: A dedicated access point on the left chest allows for high-quality branding without compromising the internal lining.
  • Tag-Free Design: Removable labels allow for easy rebranding or increased comfort for the wearer.

Design & Performance

Constructed with a 100% nylon ripstop outer shell, the Fourteener jacket is built to withstand the rigours of daily wear. Ripstop fabric is characterised by its reinforced weaving technique, which prevents small snags from turning into larger tears, significantly extending the lifespan of the garment. The internal padding is a high-density polyester filling that provides a substantial weight and feel, ensuring you remain warm even when the temperature drops significantly.

The jacket also features a full-length zip that extends into a padded collar, protecting the neck from drafts. The inclusion of adjustable elements at the wrists and waist ensures that the jacket performs well in windy conditions, preventing cold air from entering the garment. It is a robust, functional choice for those who require their workwear to perform as hard as they do.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

The Fourteener jacket is highly compatible with both print and embroidery. For a professional and long-lasting finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names. The jacket includes specific embroidery access on the left chest, ensuring that the branding process does not interfere with the internal insulation or comfort.

For larger, high-impact branding, our professional printing services are also an excellent option. Our Telford-based team, established in 1976, manages all customisation in-house. This ensures that every garment meets our rigorous quality standards before it reaches your team, providing a superior finish that reflects the quality of your business.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideal for management and supervisory staff who require a smart, professional appearance while moving between indoor and outdoor environments. It is equally suited for logistics, delivery, and trade professionals who need a durable, warm outer layer during the autumn and winter months. Due to its versatile design, it also serves as excellent leisurewear for team-building events or corporate travel.

Practical Advice

The Fourteener jacket is designed with a comfortable fit that allows for layering. For maximum thermal efficiency, we recommend wearing it over a medium-weight sweatshirt or fleece. Please consult the size guide to ensure the best fit, as the jacket is available in sizes ranging from Small to 3XL to accommodate a wide variety of body types.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the integrity of the ripstop fabric and the loft of the internal padding is essential for ensuring the jacket continues to provide warmth and weather protection over time.

We recommend a machine wash at 30°C on a gentle setting. Using a higher temperature can cause the synthetic fibres to degrade and may damage the showerproof coating on the nylon outer shell.

Do not use bleach, as this will weaken the ripstop weave and cause significant discolouration to both the jacket and your custom embroidery or print. Similarly, the garment should not be dry cleaned, as the chemicals involved can strip the fabric of its protective properties.

Avoid tumble drying this jacket. High heat can cause the polyester padding to clump or melt, leading to cold spots and a loss of shape. Instead, allow the jacket to air dry naturally. If ironing is required, use a low heat setting and avoid direct contact with any printed areas to prevent damage.
