We recommend a gentle domestic wash to maintain the fabric's integrity. Avoid using aggressive detergents or high temperatures, as these can break down the waterproof laminates, resulting in a jacket that absorbs water rather than repelling it.
Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleaching agents will destroy the fluorescent dyes in the fabric, causing it to fade and reducing your visibility on the job. This not only looks unprofessional but can also compromise your safety.
Avoid tumble drying on high heat. Excessive heat can cause the reflective tapes to lose their adhesion and may shrink the synthetic fibres, ruining the fit of your jacket. Air drying is always the preferred method for technical softshells.
