Product Overview

The Regatta Professional Classic softshell is a dependable choice for those who require a professional appearance without sacrificing practicality. Designed as a versatile outer layer, this jacket bridges the gap between a standard fleece and a heavy coat, offering a streamlined silhouette that suits a variety of working environments. It provides a clean, authoritative look while remaining functional enough for active use.

Key Features
  • 100% polyester construction ensures the jacket is both resilient and capable of standing up to the rigours of daily wear, maintaining its shape over time.
  • A full-length front zip allows for easy temperature regulation, ensuring you remain comfortable as you move between indoor and outdoor tasks.
  • The selection of classic colours provides a neutral and professional foundation for your business identity.

Design & Performance

Crafted from a mid-weight polyester fabric, this softshell provides a comfortable balance of warmth and breathability. The material is inherently quick-drying and resistant to creasing, which is particularly useful for professionals who spend much of their time on the move or in and out of vehicles. Its smooth outer finish not only looks smart but also serves as an excellent canvas for customisation, ensuring your company logo remains clear and professional.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

This item is available with both print and embroidery customisation. Embroidery delivers a textured, premium appearance — ideal for logos and names — and stands up to repeated washing without fading. Print is better suited to large, bold designs and a broader colour range. Our in-house team (established 1976) handles all customisation in Telford, ensuring your branding is applied with the precision and care that forty-plus years of experience provides.

Use Cases

This jacket is ideal for site managers, delivery personnel, and tradespeople who require a layer that looks as professional in a client meeting as it does on a job site. Its smart appearance makes it equally suitable for staff uniforms in the transport or facilities management sectors.

Practical Advice

With sizes ranging from Small to 3XL, finding the right fit for your team is straightforward. This softshell is designed to be worn over a base layer or a polo shirt; if you intend to wear heavy knitwear underneath, you may wish to consider a larger size to ensure ease of movement—as a jacket that restricts your range of motion is seldom helpful on the job.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the performance of your softshell is essential for its longevity and continued professional appearance.

When washing, ensure you follow the recommended domestic settings to prevent the polyester fibres from losing their shape. Excessive heat or aggressive cycles can cause the garment to shrink or the fabric to become brittle over time, which is a look few professionals aspire to.

Avoid the use of bleach, as this will degrade the polyester fibres and cause the colours to fade. A faded jacket often suggests a faded attention to detail, which is rarely the impression you wish to leave with a client.

If drying, it is best to avoid high heat. Over-drying can lead to static build-up and may damage the adhesive used in printed designs or cause the embroidery to pucker, compromising the finish of your logo.

Should you need to iron the garment, use a low setting. Direct high heat can melt polyester fibres, leading to permanent damage and a shiny finish that is far from the professional standard your business deserves.
