Caring for your product
To preserve the life of this garment and maintain its safety certifications, it is vital to follow the care instructions precisely. Proper maintenance ensures the waterproof coating and reflective materials remain effective for as long as possible.
We recommend a mild process wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Using higher temperatures can degrade the PU coating and damage the reflective tape, which would compromise your visibility in low-light conditions. Do not use bleach, as this will destroy the high-visibility fluorescent dye and weaken the polyester fibres.
This jacket should be drip line dried to avoid the heat damage associated with tumble drying, which can cause the waterproof membrane to peel. Do not iron the garment, as the heat will melt the synthetic shell and the internal insulation. Furthermore, do not dry clean this item, as the chemical solvents will strip away the essential waterproof finishes.
Please be aware that this garment is rated for a maximum of 50 washes. After this point, the high-visibility properties may begin to fade below the required safety thresholds, and the jacket should be replaced to ensure continued protection.
