Product Overview
The Hi-Vis 4-in-1 Traffic Jacket is an expertly engineered solution for professionals who require high-visibility protection across changing seasons and conditions. This innovative garment consists of a robust, waterproof outer shell and a removable inner bodywarmer, allowing the wearer to adapt their clothing to suit the weather. Whether worn as a complete unit for maximum warmth and protection or as separate components, this jacket provides the versatility needed for a modern working environment.
Key Features
- The 4-in-1 design offers four distinct configurations, providing a versatile solution that reduces the need for multiple individual garments.
- Constructed with a double PU coating, the jacket provides a reliable waterproof barrier to keep the wearer dry in inclement conditions.
- The stain-resistant finish on the outer fabric ensures that the garment remains cleaner for longer, maintaining a professional appearance even in demanding work environments.
- A removable inner bodywarmer is included, offering an additional layer of thermal protection that can be worn independently when full sleeves are not required.
Design & Performance
The garment is manufactured from a sturdy Oxford weave polyester, providing a durable outer layer that resists abrasions and tearing. The double PU coating is applied to the interior of the fabric, ensuring it remains waterproof while the exterior remains flexible. Performance is further enhanced by the use of a smooth polyester taffeta lining in the outer jacket, which allows for effortless layering over other workwear. The inner bodywarmer features a polyester and cotton blend lining, providing a comfortable feel against the skin and helping to regulate body temperature during physical activity.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This jacket is ideally suited for both print and embroidery, allowing for a high degree of customisation to suit your brand requirements. Embroidery is an excellent choice for adding company logos or staff names to the chest, providing a permanent and professional finish that stands up to regular laundering. For larger, more impactful designs on the back of the jacket, our heat-applied printing processes ensure vibrant colours and clear detail.
Our in-house customisation team has been operating from our Telford base since 1976. We manage the entire process from start to finish, ensuring that every garment leaving our facility meets our rigorous standards for quality and durability.
Use Cases
This jacket is designed for those working in sectors such as traffic management, construction, and logistics. It is particularly effective for workers who transition between outdoor environments and vehicle cabs, as the removable bodywarmer allows for quick adjustments to thermal comfort. The high-visibility orange colour is essential for safety in environments where being seen is a critical requirement.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, please consider the layering system you intend to use. This 4-in-1 jacket is designed to be worn over other garments, so the fit is accommodating. However, if you typically wear heavy knitwear or multiple layers beneath the bodywarmer, you may wish to ensure there is sufficient room for comfortable movement. The bodywarmer is particularly useful as a standalone piece during the autumn and spring months.
Caring for your product
To maintain the high-visibility performance and waterproof integrity of this garment, it is vital to follow the care instructions provided. A clean garment is a safe garment, as dirt and oil can reduce the effectiveness of the reflective tapes.
We recommend a mild domestic wash at a maximum of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can damage the PU coating and lead to a loss of waterproof performance. This jacket is rated for a maximum of 50 washes; beyond this point, the high-visibility properties may begin to diminish below safety standards.
Do not use bleach, as this will destroy the orange pigment and damage the reflective elements. The jacket should be drip-line dried to preserve its shape and fabric quality; tumble drying should be avoided as the high heat can damage the waterproof lining. Do not iron or dry clean this garment, as the heat and chemical solvents used in these processes will compromise the technical fabrics and any custom branding applied to the jacket.
