The ES1 Essential Holster Trousers are engineered to meet the rigorous demands of the modern workplace. Designed for professionals across all trades, these trousers balance utility with a clean, professional appearance. The inclusion of multiple holster pockets ensures that essential tools and personal items are always within reach, while the dedicated knee pad pockets offer necessary protection for those spending significant time on site.
Key Features
- Multiple Holster Pockets: These provide substantial storage for tools and components, allowing you to move freely without the need for a separate tool belt.
- Bottom-Loading Knee Pad Pockets: This design allows for the easy insertion of protective pads, providing essential cushioning when working on hard surfaces.
- Kingsmill™ Polycotton Fabric: A high-performance blend that ensures the garment remains breathable and comfortable throughout long shifts.
- Superior Dye Retention: The fabric is designed to hold its colour, ensuring your team looks professional even after repeated industrial laundering.
- Pre-Shrunk Material: The fabric undergoes a pre-shrinking process, meaning the fit remains consistent and reliable over the lifetime of the garment.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a robust Kingsmill™ Polycotton blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, these trousers offer a medium-weight feel that provides durability without excessive bulk. The polyester content ensures the trousers are hard-wearing and resistant to abrasions, while the cotton provides the natural breathability required for active work. The fabric is specifically engineered to handle the stresses of manual labour, featuring reinforced stress points and a cut that allows for a full range of movement.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
At MyWorkwear, we understand that your uniform is an extension of your brand. The ES1 Essential Holster Trousers are well-suited for both print and embroidery. For a formal and lasting professional finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and individual names; our high-stitch-count techniques ensure your branding remains sharp and legible. For larger, more prominent designs or promotional messaging, our high-quality printing services offer a bold and vibrant alternative. Our in-house team in Telford has been perfecting these processes since 1976, ensuring your order is handled with technical expertise.
Use Cases
These trousers are a versatile choice for a wide array of sectors. They are particularly popular among electricians, carpenters, and plumbers who require quick access to hand tools. Additionally, they serve as an excellent uniform staple for maintenance teams and construction workers who require a blend of functionality and a unified corporate look.

Practical Advice
To ensure the best fit, we recommend measuring your waist and inside leg accurately before ordering, as the pre-shrunk fabric ensures the size you buy is the size that stays. These trousers pair exceptionally well with our range of work boots and moisture-wicking polo shirts for a complete, year-round uniform solution.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the integrity of your workwear is essential for both safety and longevity. These trousers can be washed at temperatures up to 60°C. This higher temperature is particularly effective at removing stubborn dirt and oils common in trade environments without compromising the fabric structure.
To prevent damage to the fibres and custom branding, avoid the use of bleach. Bleaching agents can weaken the polycotton blend and cause premature fading of the fabric and any embroidered logos.
For drying, you may use a low-heat tumble dry setting or line dry the garment. Line drying is often preferable for extending the life of the fabric and maintaining the sharpness of the garment's shape. If ironing is required, please ensure the iron does not exceed 150°C. For those requiring a professional finish, these trousers are suitable for dry cleaning using tetrachloroethene under normal processes.
