Product Overview
The Eco Pullover Fleece represents a modern solution for businesses seeking high-performance workwear with a reduced environmental impact. This medium-weight microfleece is engineered for versatility, serving equally well as a standalone outer layer in milder conditions or as a primary thermal layer within a comprehensive clothing system. Crafted from 100% GRS Recycled Polyester, it offers a professional appearance while supporting corporate sustainability goals without compromising on the insulation or comfort expected from a technical fleece.
Key Features
- 100% GRS Recycled Polyester: The use of Global Recycled Standard polyester provides a sustainable fabric choice that maintains the durability and heat retention properties of virgin materials.
- Microfleece Construction: The fine knit of the microfleece creates a smooth surface that is soft against the skin and less prone to pilling, ensuring the garment remains presentable over long-term use.
- Pullover Design: The streamlined pullover style reduces bulk, making it an ideal choice for layering under waterproof jackets or heavy-duty work coats.
- Overbranding Optimised: Specifically designed with clear areas for customisation, making it a reliable canvas for company logos and staff identification.
Design & Performance
This garment is designed with a focus on functional performance in active work environments. The lightweight yet dense structure of the 100% GRS Recycled Polyester fabric traps air efficiently to provide consistent warmth. Because it is a microfleece, the fabric is inherently breathable, allowing moisture to escape during physical exertion to keep the wearer dry and comfortable. The black colourway provides a sharp, neutral base that hides minor transit dirt while ensuring that any applied branding remains the focal point of the uniform.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
The Eco Pullover Fleece is exceptionally well-suited for both print and embroidery, though the choice depends on your specific branding requirements. For a formal and prestigious finish, we recommend embroidery; our high-quality threads create a raised, durable logo that withstands the rigours of daily wear and repeated industrial laundering. For larger, more vibrant graphics or promotional messaging, film print offers a crisp, bold finish that adheres well to the microfleece surface. All customisation is performed by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility, drawing on decades of experience to ensure your brand is represented accurately.
Use Cases
This fleece is a versatile staple for various sectors, including logistics, facilities management, and site-based trades. Its professional aesthetic makes it suitable for front-of-house staff or surveyors who require warmth while maintaining a corporate image. It is particularly effective for teams working in variable temperatures where the ability to add or remove a thermal layer is essential for comfort and safety.

Practical Advice
To maximise the thermal efficiency of the Eco Pullover Fleece, we suggest wearing it over a moisture-wicking base layer. This allows the microfleece to move perspiration away from the body more effectively. When selecting your size, consider whether you intend to wear it as a primary top or as an insulating layer; if the latter, a standard fit should suffice to allow for a jacket to be worn over the top comfortably.
Caring for your product
To maintain the performance and longevity of this recycled polyester garment, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures can damage the synthetic fibres and may cause the fabric to lose its soft texture or lead to premature wear of the custom branding.
Do not use bleach on this garment. Chlorine-based cleaners will strip the colour from the black polyester and compromise the structural integrity of the fibres, leading to holes or thinning of the fabric.
This item should not be tumble dried. High heat from a dryer can shrink the fleece and distort the shape of embroidered logos. We recommend hanging the garment to air dry, which also helps to reduce static build-up within the polyester fibres.
Ironing is not permitted for this microfleece. The heat from an iron can melt the polyester fibres or the adhesive used in printed logos, causing permanent damage. Fortunately, the nature of the fabric means it is naturally resistant to wrinkling if hung correctly after washing.
Finally, avoid dry cleaning this product. The harsh chemicals used in the dry cleaning process are unnecessary for microfleece and can interfere with the fabric's ability to provide thermal insulation.
