Product Overview

Maintaining the hygiene and accessibility of hearing protection is a fundamental yet often overlooked aspect of site safety. The PA09WHR Ear Plugs Storage Box, supplied in a convenient pack of 50, provides a practical solution for workers who require quick access to their earplugs while ensuring they remain free from dust, grit, and moisture when not in use. Crafted from durable polypropylene, these lightweight containers are designed for longevity in demanding industrial environments.

Key Features
  • Integrated belt clip allows for secure attachment to work trousers or utility belts, ensuring hearing protection is always within reach for the user.
  • Transparent polypropylene construction enables quick visual inspection of the contents without needing to open the case, saving time during safety checks.
  • Precisely sized to accommodate a single pair of earplugs, providing a compact and non-obtrusive storage solution that does not hinder the wearer's movement.
  • Supplied as a bulk pack of 50 units, making it an efficient choice for outfitting entire teams or maintaining consistent stock levels across a workshop or factory floor.

Design & Performance

The design of the PA09 focuses on functional simplicity and resilience. Utilising polypropylene ensures the box is sturdy enough to withstand the inevitable knocks and scrapes of a busy workshop or construction site. The material is inherently moisture-resistant, which is vital for maintaining the cleanliness of foam or silicone earplugs that sit directly in the ear canal. The inclusion of a robust belt clip transforms a simple storage box into a piece of wearable equipment, reducing the likelihood of lost PPE and encouraging consistent use among staff.

Why No Customisation?

This product is a dedicated PPE accessory designed purely for utility and hygiene. Due to the small surface area, the transparent nature of the plastic, and the specific high-density polypropylene used in its construction, it is not suitable for our standard embroidery or print processes. As an item intended for individual hygiene, we provide these as-is to ensure the integrity of the protective housing remains uncompromised.

Use Cases

These storage boxes are essential for professionals working in high-decibel environments, including those in the aviation, construction, and welding sectors. They are particularly useful for tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and mechanics who move between different noise-level zones and need to stow their hearing protection securely and hygienically throughout the working day.

Practical Advice

To ensure maximum hygiene, we recommend cleaning the storage box at the end of every shift. While the belt clip is designed to be secure, ensure it is clipped onto a sturdy part of your uniform or tool belt to prevent accidental loss in high-activity areas. For large teams, a small permanent marker can be used on the clip to help individual workers identify their own container.

Caring for your product

Maintaining the cleanliness of your earplug storage box is essential for preventing ear infections and ensuring the longevity of your hearing protection. We recommend wiping the internal and external surfaces with a mild disinfectant or warm soapy water on a regular basis. Failing to maintain a clean container can lead to a build-up of bacteria and debris, which may then be transferred to your earplugs and subsequently the ear canal.

Avoid using harsh chemical solvents or abrasive cleaners, as these may degrade the polypropylene over time, potentially causing the plastic to become brittle or lose its transparency. Always ensure the box is completely dry before placing earplugs inside to prevent moisture from becoming trapped, which could compromise the material of the earplugs themselves.
