Portwest Disposable Visitors Coat PP (PK200)

Product Overview

The Disposable Visitors Coat (PK200) is a practical and essential solution for maintaining strict hygiene standards within controlled environments. This bulk pack contains 200 individual coats, each manufactured from a robust, non-woven polypropylene fabric. Designed to be worn by guests or temporary staff, these white coats provide a reliable barrier that helps to prevent cross-contamination while ensuring visitors look professional and uniform as they move through your facility.

Key Features

• Secure snap button closure: The centre front is equipped with snap buttons, providing a quick and secure fastening that keeps the coat closed and functional throughout the visit.
• Non-woven polypropylene fabric: This material is chosen for its strength and lightweight properties, offering a dependable barrier without causing the wearer to overheat.
• Bulk pack of 200: Providing a high-volume supply in a single purchase, this pack is ideal for busy sites that handle frequent visitor traffic or large groups.

Design & Performance

Constructed from 100% polypropylene, these coats are engineered for performance in fast-paced industrial environments. The fabric is specifically designed to be lightweight, ensuring that guests remain comfortable even when the coat is worn over their existing attire. Despite being a lightweight material, the non-woven structure provides a significant degree of protection against the shedding of clothing fibres into sensitive production areas.

Why No Customisation?

We do not offer customisation for this specific product because it is a disposable, single-use item. Applying embroidery or heat-sealed logos to non-woven polypropylene is not feasible, as the material is not designed to withstand the heat or mechanical stress of the customisation process. Furthermore, the cost-effectiveness of these coats is maintained by providing them in their standard, professional white finish.

Use Cases

These visitor coats are primarily intended for the food industry, including bakeries, butchers, and large-scale catering operations. They are also perfectly suited for use in pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories, and any manufacturing environment where contamination control is a critical operational requirement.

Practical Advice

When ordering, please consider that these coats are designed to be worn over everyday clothing. Ensuring you have a range of sizes available for your guests will help maintain a professional appearance. For best results, ensure the coats are stored in their original packaging until required to keep them clean and free from environmental dust.

Caring for your product

As these are disposable items, they are not suitable for traditional laundering. Attempting to wash these coats would compromise the structural integrity of the non-woven polypropylene, rendering them ineffective for hygiene purposes.

To maintain the quality of the unused coats, we recommend storing the pack in a cool, dry environment. Exposure to excessive moisture or direct sunlight can degrade the material over time, which may lead to the fabric tearing prematurely. Once used, the coats should be disposed of immediately in accordance with your facility's waste and hygiene protocols.
