Product Overview
The Cut C13 PU Glove is a specialised piece of hand protection designed to bridge the gap between high-level safety and the necessary dexterity required for intricate manual tasks. Constructed with a sophisticated blend of HPPE, glass fibre, and polyester, these gloves provide a robust barrier against sharp edges and abrasive surfaces, achieving a Level C cut resistance rating. The inclusion of a polyurethane (PU) coating ensures that while your hands are protected, you maintain a sure-footed grip and the tactile sensitivity needed to handle small components or tools with precision.
Key Features
- Level C Cut Resistance: This provides essential protection for the wearer when handling sharp objects, significantly reducing the risk of lacerations in high-risk environments.
- Seamless Liner: By eliminating internal seams, the glove reduces the likelihood of skin irritation and chafing during extended shifts, enhancing overall wearer comfort.
- EN407 Contact Heat Level 1: This certification offers short-term protection against temperatures up to 100°C, making these gloves suitable for tasks involving hot components or surfaces.
- Polyurethane Coating: The palm-dipped coating provides excellent abrasion resistance and enhanced grip in both dry and slightly oily conditions without sacrificing flexibility.
Design & Performance
The performance of these gloves is rooted in their material composition. The lightweight HPPE and glass fibre blend creates a high-tenacity fabric that remains breathable, ensuring that hands stay cool even during intensive labour. The seamless construction is particularly beneficial for those in professions where repetitive movement is required, as it prevents the pressure points often associated with traditional stitched gloves.
In terms of durability, the grey colourway is a practical choice for industrial settings, effectively masking the inevitable dirt and grime of a busy workspace. The elasticated cuff ensures a secure fit, preventing debris from entering the glove and maintaining a stable position on the hand during use.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation on the Cut C13 PU Glove for several technical and safety reasons. Firstly, these are high-performance safety items where the integrity of the cut-resistant fibres is paramount; any embroidery would involve piercing the fabric, which could compromise the protective barrier. Furthermore, applying heat-press logos can interfere with the polyurethane coating and the glove's flexibility, potentially voiding its safety certifications. As essential personal protective equipment (PPE), they are designed to be used as-is to ensure maximum worker safety.
Use Cases
These gloves are an ideal choice for carpenters, glass handlers, and maintenance engineers who require a balance of protection and finesse. They are equally suited for automotive assembly or metal fabrication environments where sharp edges and moderate heat are common workplace hazards.

Practical Advice
To ensure maximum protection, it is vital to select the correct size. A glove that is too loose can catch in machinery or reduce your grip, while a glove that is too tight may restrict blood flow and lead to hand fatigue. We recommend checking your hand measurements against our sizing guide before purchase. Please note that these gloves are designed for tactile tasks; layering them with other gloves is not recommended as it will impede your dexterity and the effectiveness of the cut-resistant material.
Caring for your product
To maintain the structural integrity and protective qualities of your cut-resistant gloves, it is important to keep them clean and free from heavy chemical contamination. We recommend a gentle manual cleaning process using a damp cloth to remove surface dirt, as excessive moisture can sometimes affect the elasticity of the materials over time.
Avoid the use of harsh bleaching agents or aggressive industrial detergents. These chemicals can break down the glass fibres and HPPE strands within the fabric, significantly reducing the cut resistance and leaving your hands vulnerable to injury. Always allow the gloves to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can cause the polyurethane coating to become brittle and crack, rendering the grip ineffective.
