Product Overview
The Cut D13 Nitrile Green Glove is a sophisticated piece of personal protective equipment designed for environments where mechanical risks are a constant factor. Engineered to meet the EN388:2016 Cut Level D standard, these gloves provide a high degree of protection against sharp edges and lacerations without sacrificing the wearer's dexterity. The inclusion of a vibrant green liner is a deliberate safety feature, allowing for rapid visual confirmation of safety compliance across a busy worksite. Combining protection with a lightweight, breathable feel, this glove is an essential choice for professionals who require reliable hand protection throughout the working day.
Key Features
Cut Level D Protection: Utilising a robust blend of HPPE and steel fibre, these gloves offer significant resistance to cuts, protecting the wearer during the handling of sharp materials like glass or sheet metal.
Nitrile Foam Dipping: The palm and fingers are coated in a nitrile foam that provides an enhanced grip in both dry and slightly oily conditions, ensuring secure tool handling and reducing the risk of accidents caused by slippage.
High-Visibility Green Liner: The bright colour ensures that site supervisors can easily identify that the correct level of cut protection is being worn, facilitating better safety management on-site.
Ergonomic Fit: The combination of polyester and elastane allows the glove to conform closely to the hand, providing the tactile sensitivity needed for precision tasks while reducing hand fatigue.
Design & Performance
The A645 is designed to perform in demanding industrial settings. By weaving steel fibre into the HPPE base, the glove achieves its high cut rating while remaining surprisingly flexible. This medium-weight construction ensures that the wearer does not feel encumbered, which is often a complaint with traditional heavy-duty safety gloves. The nitrile foam coating is specifically engineered to be breathable, allowing heat and moisture to escape from the palm, which is critical for comfort during long shifts in varied temperatures. The black palm coating also serves to hide dirt and grease, maintaining a professional appearance for longer.
Why No Customisation?
We do not offer customisation on these gloves because they are certified items of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Any alteration to the fabric, such as embroidery or heat-applied logos, could potentially damage the integrity of the cut-resistant fibres or interfere with the nitrile coating. To ensure the gloves perform exactly to their tested safety standards and protect your hands as intended, they are supplied only in their original, non-customised form.
Use Cases
These gloves are particularly well-suited for tradespeople in the carpentry, glazing, and metal fabrication sectors. They are also an excellent choice for warehouse staff handling broken pallets or sharp packaging materials, and for maintenance engineers who frequently work with oily components that require both grip and high-level cut protection.

Practical Advice
When choosing your size, ensure the glove fits snugly across the palm and at the fingertips. Excess material at the tips of the fingers can impair your ability to handle small components and may pose a snagging risk. Conversely, a glove that is too tight will restrict movement and may cause the protective fibres to stretch and wear prematurely.
Caring for your product
Maintaining the structural integrity of your cut-resistant gloves is vital for ensuring they continue to provide the rated level of protection. Over time, the build-up of oils and debris can affect the performance of the nitrile foam grip, so periodic cleaning is recommended to extend the life of the product.
Avoid the use of harsh chemical bleaches or aggressive solvents during cleaning, as these can degrade the HPPE and steel fibres, leading to a significant reduction in cut resistance. We recommend air drying the gloves away from direct heat sources; high temperatures from radiators or tumble dryers can cause the nitrile coating to become brittle and crack, which would compromise the glove's flexibility and grip.
