Product Overview

The Cut C13 PU Essential Multipack represents a sensible and cost-effective approach to workplace safety. Designed for environments where sharp edges and fine motor tasks coexist, these gloves provide a high level of cut resistance without the unnecessary expense of elaborate packaging. By streamlining the design—utilising single-colour branding and reduced waste—we are able to offer this pack of 12 pairs as a high-value alternative to our flagship models. Finished in a practical grey, these gloves are as much about efficiency as they are about protection.

Key Features

  • Level C Cut Resistance: Specifically engineered to protect the wearer against lacerations from sharp objects, providing a reliable barrier for high-risk handling tasks.

  • EN407 Contact Heat Level 1: Offers short-term protection against temperatures up to 100°C, a critical feature when moving between cut-hazard zones and areas with warm components.

  • Seamless Liner: The internal construction is free from irritating seams, which not only improves comfort during long shifts but also enhances your sense of touch and dexterity.

  • Polyurethane (PU) Coating: The palm-dipped coating ensures a secure grip in both dry and slightly oily conditions, allowing for precise control over tools and materials.

  • Economical Multipack: Supplied in a pack of 12, ensuring your team is consistently equipped while simplifying your inventory management.

Design & Performance

Constructed from a sophisticated blend of HPPE, polyester, and glass fibre, these gloves achieve their safety rating through material science rather than sheer bulk. The fabric is lightweight and breathable, which is a significant advantage for workers who find heavier safety gloves cumbersome or overly warm. The glass fibre provides the necessary resistance to shearing forces, while the elasticated cuffs ensure the gloves remain firmly in place, preventing the ingress of dust and debris. They feel substantial enough to inspire confidence, yet thin enough to handle a small screw without fumbling.

Why No Customisation?

As these gloves are classified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are certified to specific safety standards (such as EN388 and EN407), we do not offer customisation. Adding embroidery would involve piercing the protective liner, which would compromise the cut resistance. Similarly, heat-applied prints could alter the performance of the PU coating or the structural integrity of the synthetic fibres. To ensure you remain fully compliant and protected, we provide these gloves in their original, factory-certified state.

Use Cases

These gloves are an ideal choice for carpenters, joiners, and metal workers who require protection from sharp offcuts but cannot afford to lose the dexterity needed for intricate assembly. They are also highly effective for logistics and glass handling, where the risk of incidental cuts is high but heavy-duty gloves would be overkill.

Why MyWorkwear

Our decades of experience mean we only stock products that meet our exacting standards for durability and safety.

Practical Advice

To get the most out of these gloves, ensure you select the correct size for a close fit. A glove that is too large will reduce your grip and could potentially snag in machinery, whereas a glove that is too tight will cause hand fatigue. Given the elastic nature of the HPPE blend, they should feel like a second skin.

Caring for your product

Maintaining your hand protection is a matter of safety, not just cleanliness. Regularly inspecting your gloves for wear and tear is the most important part of their care cycle.

If the gloves become heavily soiled with oils or grease, it is often safer to replace them with a fresh pair from the multipack. Contaminants can degrade the PU coating over time, reducing the grip and potentially exposing the fibres underneath to premature wear. Avoiding exposure to direct heat sources when storing them will also prevent the synthetic materials from becoming brittle, ensuring they remain flexible and ready for use.
