Product Overview

The Bizflame Work Lightweight FR Coverall is a meticulously engineered solution for professionals working in high-temperature environments, particularly within the offshore industry. While traditional flame-resistant gear can often feel cumbersome in the heat, this coverall utilises a lighter-weight twill fabric that maintains rigorous safety standards without sacrificing the comfort of the wearer. It is designed to offer a professional silhouette while providing the essential protection required in hazardous conditions.

Key Features
  • Innovative Flame-Resistant Twill: The fabric is specifically woven to provide a reliable barrier against heat and flame, ensuring you remain protected during critical tasks.
  • High Cotton Content: Comprising 99% cotton, the material offers natural breathability and moisture management, which is vital when working in extra warm weather.
  • Integrated Carbon Fibre: The inclusion of 1% carbon fibre provides permanent anti-static properties, which are essential for safety in volatile environments.
  • Lightweight Construction: By reducing the physical weight of the garment, this coverall lessens wearer fatigue during long shifts in demanding climates.

Design & Performance

The performance of this coverall lies in the Bizflame Work fabric. The twill weave provides a smooth, durable finish that resists snagging while remaining soft against the skin. Because the fabric is a lightweight variety, it allows for better airflow compared to standard heavy-duty alternatives. Despite its lighter feel, the construction is robust, ensuring the garment can withstand the daily rigours of industrial use. The black colourway provides a sharp, professional appearance that effectively hides the inevitable grease and grime of the job site.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

At MyWorkwear, we understand that your uniform is an extension of your brand. This coverall is perfectly suited for both print and embroidery. Embroidery is the preferred choice for a professional finish on the chest or arms, allowing for high-definition company logos or individual names that will endure the life of the garment. For larger, more impactful branding on the back, our high-quality printing services provide a bold look. All customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting these techniques since 1976.

Use Cases

This garment is specifically tailored for personnel in the offshore oil and gas sectors, particularly those stationed in warmer geographic regions. It is also an excellent choice for electricians, engineers, and utility workers who require flame-resistant protection but find standard-weight coveralls too restrictive or hot for their specific working conditions.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage dating back to 1976, MyWorkwear has spent decades supporting British industry. Based in Telford, we combine our extensive technical knowledge with the latest customisation technology. When you choose us, you are not just buying a garment; you are benefitting from nearly half a century of expertise in protective clothing and professional branding.

Practical Advice

For the best fit, we recommend considering what you intend to wear underneath. As this is a lightweight coverall designed for warm weather, it is often worn over thin base layers. If you are between sizes or prefer a more generous range of motion for climbing and reaching, you may wish to size up slightly to ensure total comfort throughout your shift.

Caring for your product

To maintain the flame-resistant properties and structural integrity of your coverall, it is essential to follow the recommended care routine. Proper maintenance ensures the technical fibres continue to perform their safety functions effectively over time.

We recommend a normal wash process at a maximum temperature of 60°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove heavy industrial soiling without damaging the carbon fibre or cotton blend. Avoid the use of bleach at all costs, as chlorine will degrade the flame-resistant treatment and weaken the fabric fibres, potentially compromising your safety.

When drying, use a low heat setting on your tumble dryer. Excessive heat during the drying cycle can lead to unnecessary shrinkage. If ironing is required to maintain a professional appearance, ensure the iron temperature does not exceed 150°C. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemical solvents used in the process can interfere with the protective finishes of the Bizflame fabric.
