Product Overview

The Bizflame Work Hi-Vis Multi-Norm Contrast FR Bib and Brace is a sophisticated piece of protective equipment designed for individuals working in environments where multiple hazards are present. Constructed from an innovative cotton-rich fabric, this garment offers a superior balance between wearer comfort and rigorous safety standards. The substantial weight of the fabric provides a reassuring sense of protection, while the integrated carbon fibres provide essential anti-static properties. Designed to provide comprehensive coverage, this bib and brace ensures you remain visible and protected without compromising on mobility.

Key Features
  • Twin-Stitched Hi-Vis Strips: The reflective tape is secured with double stitching on the legs and waist, ensuring the high-visibility elements remain firmly attached even after repeated industrial laundering and heavy use on site.
  • Integrated Brass Zip: The front of the garment features a robust brass zip, chosen for its durability and resistance to heat, providing a secure and reliable fastening method.
  • Comprehensive Pocket Array: With two front patch pockets, a chest pocket with a flap, a back pocket with a flap, and a dedicated lower tool pocket, you have ample secure storage for essential equipment and personal items.
  • Multi-Norm Protection: Engineered to shield the wearer against a variety of industrial risks, making it a versatile choice for complex work environments.

Design & Performance

The performance of this bib and brace is rooted in its material composition of 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre. The high cotton content ensures the fabric is breathable and comfortable against the skin, which is vital during long shifts. The inclusion of carbon fibre is a technical necessity, providing the anti-static performance required in volatile environments. This substantial, heavy-duty fabric is designed to withstand the rigours of manual labour, while the contrast colour design helps to maintain a professional appearance by masking dirt in high-contact areas.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

At MyWorkwear, we understand that your clothing is an extension of your brand. This bib and brace is well-suited for both embroidery and print. For a traditional, professional appearance that withstands the elements, embroidery is the ideal choice for company logos or staff names. If you require large, bold branding that is easily identifiable from a distance, our high-quality printing process is an excellent alternative. All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford, ensuring the integrity of the flame-resistant fabric is maintained while your branding remains sharp.

Use Cases

This garment is specifically engineered for professionals working in the petrochemical, utility, and heavy engineering sectors. It is particularly effective for those who require flame resistance combined with high visibility, such as trackside workers, industrial electricians, or technicians working in environments where static discharge must be prevented.

Why MyWorkwear

Since 1976, MyWorkwear has been providing high-quality technical garments to tradespeople across the United Kingdom. Based in Telford, our heritage is built on a deep understanding of fabric performance and customisation. We combine nearly five decades of expertise with modern techniques to ensure your team looks professional while staying safe.

Practical Advice

Due to the substantial nature of the Bizflame fabric, we recommend considering your layering requirements. If you intend to wear heavy thermal garments underneath during winter months, ensure you check the fit to allow for ease of movement. The adjustable straps on the bib and brace allow for a customisable fit, ensuring the garment remains comfortable regardless of your activity level.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-visibility and flame-resistant properties of this garment, it is essential to follow the specific care instructions provided. Failure to do so may compromise the protective finish of the fabric.

We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C. This temperature is effective at removing industrial grease and grime without damaging the chemical bond of the flame-resistant treatment or the carbon fibres.

Do not use bleach when cleaning this garment. Bleaching agents will strip the protective flame-resistant properties from the cotton fibres, rendering the garment unsafe for hazardous environments.

This product should not be tumble dried. High heat and mechanical agitation can cause the cotton to shrink excessively and may degrade the integrity of the reflective strips. Instead, allow the garment to air dry naturally.

If ironing is required, use a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C. This ensures the garment looks professional without risking heat damage to the technical fibres or the brass hardware.

Do not dry clean this garment. The chemical solvents used in dry cleaning processes can interfere with the flame-resistant finish, potentially reducing the level of protection provided to the wearer.
