Product Overview
The Bizflame Work Hi-Vis Multi-Norm Contrast FR Trousers are an expertly engineered solution for professionals working in high-risk industrial environments. Constructed from innovative Bizflame Work HV fabric, these trousers are designed to offer comprehensive protection against a wide array of hazards. This versatile garment provides a robust barrier against heat, fire, chemical splashes, electrical arcs, and welding sparks, ensuring that safety is maintained without compromising on wearer comfort.
Key Features
- Twin-stitched Hi-Vis strips on the legs significantly improve visibility in low-light conditions, while the reinforced stitching ensures the reflective material remains secure through rigorous daily use.
- The front brass zip provides a durable and heat-resistant fastening, ensuring the trousers remain functional and secure even in high-temperature environments.
- Storage is expertly handled by two flapped front pockets, one flapped back pocket, and a dedicated lower tool pocket with a flap, all designed to keep your equipment secure and protected from debris.
- The contrast colour design in Yellow/Navy provides high visibility while strategically using darker panels in areas most prone to dirt, helping to maintain a professional appearance throughout the working day.
Design & Performance
These trousers are manufactured from a substantial, heavy-duty fabric composed of 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre. The high cotton content ensures the garment remains breathable and comfortable for the wearer, which is essential during long shifts in demanding conditions. The integration of carbon fibre provides permanent anti-static properties, which are critical for safety in environments where static discharge could pose a risk.
The performance of the Bizflame Work HV fabric is designed to endure. It maintains its flame-resistant properties and structural strength even after multiple washes, providing long-term value and consistent protection. The design allows for a full range of movement, ensuring that the protective barrier does not hinder your ability to perform technical tasks.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
To ensure your team presents a unified and professional image, these trousers are suitable for both print and embroidery. We highly recommend embroidery for these technical garments, as it provides a sophisticated and durable finish for company logos or staff names that can withstand industrial laundering.
If your branding requires larger or more complex designs, our high-quality printing services are also available. Every customisation project is handled by our expert in-house team at our Telford facility. Having been established in 1976, we have the technical knowledge to ensure that any branding applied is done so with care, maintaining the professional integrity of your safety workwear.
Use Cases
These trousers are an essential choice for workers in the petrochemical, utility, and construction sectors. They are specifically designed for those who face multi-risk environments, including welders, electrical engineers, and technicians who require both high-visibility and flame-resistant protection.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, we recommend considering the typical layers you may wear beneath these trousers. For maximum protection in multi-hazard environments, these trousers should be worn as part of a complete suite of flame-resistant clothing. Ensuring a proper fit is vital, as overly tight or excessively loose garments can compromise the protective qualities of the fabric.
Caring for your product
To maintain the essential safety certifications and the longevity of these trousers, it is vital to adhere to the manufacturer's care instructions. Proper maintenance ensures the flame-resistant properties and reflective elements continue to perform as intended.
We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 60°C using a normal process. Washing at higher temperatures may degrade the specialised fibres and affect the garment's protective capabilities.
Do not use bleach. Bleaching agents will chemically damage the flame-resistant treatment of the fabric, rendering the trousers unsafe for use in hazardous environments.
These trousers must not be tumble dried. Heat from tumble drying can cause shrinkage and damage the reflective strips. Instead, allow the garment to air dry naturally. Similarly, do not dry clean this product, as the chemicals used can strip the protective finishes from the material.
If ironing is required, use a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C. This will help maintain a crisp, professional appearance without risking damage to the carbon fibres or reflective tape.
