Product Overview

The Bizflame Work Hi-Vis Contrast FR Coverall is a sophisticated piece of personal protective equipment designed for environments where multiple hazards coexist. This garment provides a comprehensive solution for professionals requiring flame resistance, anti-static properties, and high visibility. Engineered with a substantial cotton-rich fabric, it offers the natural breathability of cotton combined with the technical protection necessary for high-risk industrial roles.

Key Features

  • Inherently Flame Resistant: The fabric provides essential protection against heat and flame, ensuring safety in volatile environments.

  • Anti-Static Properties: The integration of carbon fibre prevents the build-up of static electricity, which is critical in environments where sparks could lead to catastrophe.

  • High Visibility Design: The bright yellow upper sections ensure you remain conspicuous in low-light conditions, significantly reducing the risk of accidents.

  • Contrast Panelling: The navy sections are strategically placed in high-wear areas to mask dirt and maintain a professional appearance throughout the working day.

  • Premium Fabric Blend: Comprising 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre, the material provides a soft hand-feel and excellent moisture-wicking properties for comfort during long shifts.

Design & Performance

This coverall is constructed from a heavy-weight fabric that feels sturdy and reliable from the moment it is put on. The 99% cotton content ensures that the wearer does not overheat, providing a level of comfort that synthetic-heavy alternatives simply cannot match. The addition of 1% carbon fibre is woven directly into the fabric, providing permanent anti-static protection that will not wash out over time.

The ergonomic design allows for a full range of movement, which is vital when navigating complex machinery or working in confined spaces. The navy contrast at the hem and cuffs is a practical design choice, ensuring that the areas most prone to grease and grime do not compromise the overall look of the uniform.

Customisation: Print & Embroidery

At MyWorkwear, we understand that your uniform is an extension of your brand. This coverall is suitable for both embroidery and print. For a traditional and durable finish, we recommend embroidery for company logos and staff names, providing a superior, three-dimensional look that withstands industrial laundering.

Alternatively, if you require larger, high-impact branding across the back, our high-quality printing services are an excellent choice. All customisation is carried out by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting the art of workwear branding since 1976. We ensure that every logo is applied with precision, maintaining the professional integrity of your safety gear.

Use Cases

This coverall is specifically designed for professionals working in the petrochemical industry, utility sectors, and any environment where flame, static, and low visibility are daily considerations. It is an ideal choice for engineers, technicians, and site managers who require a single garment to meet multiple safety standards without compromising on comfort.

Why MyWorkwear

With a heritage dating back to 1976, MyWorkwear has spent decades refining the selection of garments we offer. Based in Telford, our expertise in technical workwear ensures that we don't just sell you a product; we provide a reliable safety solution. Our long-standing experience in the industry means we understand the rigours of your workplace and the importance of garments that perform as hard as you do.

Practical Advice

As this is a substantial, heavy-weight coverall, we recommend considering the clothing you will wear underneath. In colder months, it serves as an excellent outer layer over thermal base layers. Given its protective nature, ensuring a correct fit is vital for safety; a fit that is too loose may snag, while one too tight may restrict the necessary range of motion required for technical tasks.

Caring for your product

To maintain the high-performance standards of this flame-resistant and anti-static garment, proper care is essential. We recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. Washing at higher temperatures or using aggressive cycles may degrade the protective qualities of the fabric over time.

Do not use bleach under any circumstances. Bleaching agents will compromise the flame-resistant treatment and the integrity of the carbon fibres, effectively rendering the safety features of the coverall useless. Similarly, the garment should not be tumble dried. Natural air drying is the best method to prevent shrinkage and maintain the shape of the substantial cotton fabric.

If ironing is required, please use a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C. Excessive heat from an iron can damage the technical fibres. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the chemicals used in the process can interfere with the specialized finishes that provide your protection.
