Product Overview
The Bizflame Work FR Bib and Brace is a cornerstone of protective workwear, engineered to provide comprehensive shielding for both the chest and lower body. This garment is designed for professionals who require a dependable barrier in environments where flame resistance and anti-static properties are mandatory. The classic navy design is paired with a focus on utility, ensuring that safety does not come at the expense of practicality or comfort during long shifts on-site.
Key Features
- Large chest pocket: Offers a secure and easily accessible space for essential tools or personal belongings, ensuring they are always within reach.
- Double rule pocket: A dedicated storage solution for measuring equipment, keeping your tools stable and preventing them from interfering with your movement.

- Elasticated straps: These allow for a superior range of motion and a customisable fit, ensuring the garment moves with you rather than against you.
Design & Performance
Constructed from Bizflame Work fabric—a high-performance blend of 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre—this bib and brace is built to endure. The substantial, heavyweight fabric offers the natural breathability of cotton while the integrated carbon fibre provides permanent anti-static protection. This combination ensures that the wearer remains comfortable and protected, while the reinforced construction means the garment is capable of withstanding the daily rigours of industrial environments without compromising its structural integrity.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This bib and brace is fully compatible with both print and embroidery, allowing you to maintain a professional appearance while adhering to safety standards. Embroidery is the ideal choice for a sophisticated, long-lasting finish, such as company logos or staff names, and is particularly resilient to the high-intensity environments this garment is designed for. For larger, more prominent branding on the chest or legs, our precision printing options provide excellent clarity. All customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford, who have been perfecting workwear branding since 1976.
Use Cases
The Bizflame Work FR Bib and Brace is an essential choice for workers in the utilities, oil and gas, and manufacturing sectors. It is particularly effective for those performing overhead tasks or maintenance work where a standard trouser and jacket combination might leave the midriff exposed. Its flame-resistant properties make it a staple for anyone working in proximity to heat or static hazards.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the clothing you will be wearing beneath the bib and brace. As this garment is often layered over a sweatshirt or work shirt, ensuring there is enough room for movement at the waist and hips will help you maintain full mobility throughout your working day.
Caring for your product
To ensure the flame-resistant properties and anti-static fibres remain effective, we recommend a mild domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Exceeding this temperature can degrade the specialised treatment of the fabric and shorten the lifespan of the garment.
Bleaching agents must be avoided at all costs. The chemicals in bleach will break down the protective properties of the Bizflame fabric, rendering the flame-resistance ineffective and compromising your safety.
This garment should not be tumble dried. Allowing the bib and brace to air dry naturally helps to maintain its shape and prevents unnecessary shrinkage, particularly in the elasticated straps and reinforced pockets. Dry cleaning is also not recommended, as the solvents used can interfere with the technical performance of the carbon fibres.
If ironing is necessary to maintain a professional appearance, use a maximum heat setting of 150°C. This provides a crisp finish without risking damage to the protective elements integrated into the cotton blend.
