Product Overview
The Bizflame Industry Two Tone FR Bib and Brace is a technically engineered piece of protective equipment designed for those working in environments where multi-hazard protection is a non-negotiable requirement. This garment successfully balances the need for industrial-grade safety with the day-to-day necessity of a comfortable, functional fit. The inclusion of polyester within the fabric blend ensures that the garment remains hardwearing while providing a professional appearance that lasts through rigorous use.
Key Features
- Enhanced durability provided by the FR polyester content, which ensures the garment resists abrasion and holds its shape even after heavy use in demanding environments.
- Excellent colour fastness ensures the professional grey aesthetic remains vibrant and does not fade prematurely after repeated industrial laundering.
- Shrinkage resistance provides peace of mind that the fit and dimensions of your bib and brace will remain consistent throughout its working life.
- A multi-protection design that effectively guards against a range of industrial hazards without sacrificing the wearer's range of movement.
Design & Performance
Constructed from a substantial, heavy-weight fabric, this bib and brace is built to endure the daily rigours of the workshop or site. The composition of 80% cotton provides a soft, breathable feel against the skin, which is essential for comfort during long shifts. This is expertly blended with 19% polyester to add the necessary structural integrity to prevent the fabric from thinning, while 1% carbon fibre is integrated to meet specific technical requirements.
The two-tone design provides a modern, expert appearance that stands out in the workplace while remaining practical for concealing the inevitable marks of a day's work. The functional design includes well-placed pockets and adjustable features to ensure it performs as well as it protects.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
This bib and brace is well-suited for both print and embroidery, allowing you to align your safety gear with your corporate identity. Embroidery is the preferred choice for a professional finish, ideal for company logos and staff names on the chest area to create a permanent, high-quality mark. For larger, bold branding, our printing services provide a sharp and clear alternative.
All customisation is managed by our expert in-house team in Telford. Having been established in 1976, MyWorkwear understands the complexities of applying branding to technical, flame-resistant fabrics without compromising the garment's protective integrity.
Use Cases
This garment is specifically designed for professionals in the manufacturing, petrochemical, and utilities sectors where flame-resistant and anti-static clothing is mandatory. It is ideal for those who require more coverage than standard trousers but need more mobility and ventilation than a full coverall provides.

Practical Advice
When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear underneath. As this is a substantial, sturdy garment, it fits well over standard base layers. Ensure the braces are adjusted correctly to allow for a full range of movement without the fabric pulling across the lower back or shoulders during manual tasks.
Caring for your product
To maintain the protective properties and longevity of this bib and brace, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. Maintaining the integrity of the flame-resistant fabric ensures it continues to perform when it matters most.
We recommend a maximum wash temperature of 60°C. Exceeding this temperature can degrade the specialised fibres and potentially affect the garment's protective capabilities over time. A normal washing process is sufficient for removing industrial grime.
Under no circumstances should you use bleach. Bleaching agents will chemically damage the fabric and significantly undermine the flame-resistant properties, rendering the garment unsafe for use. Similarly, avoid dry cleaning as the chemicals involved can leave residues that are detrimental to the fabric's performance.
If using a tumble dryer, select a low heat setting. High heat in the drying cycle can cause excessive shrinkage and wear the fabric out prematurely. When ironing, ensure the temperature does not exceed 150°C to keep the garment looking sharp without damaging the synthetic components of the blend.
