Design & Performance
The performance of the Bizflame Industry FR Jacket is rooted in its heavy-weight fabric composition. Comprising 80% cotton, 19% polyester, and 1% carbon fibre, the material feels substantial and sturdy to the touch. The high cotton content ensures the fabric remains breathable and comfortable against the skin for long shifts, while the polyester provides the structural integrity needed to prevent fraying and tearing.
In terms of performance, the fabric is treated to maintain its protective qualities even after repeated laundering. The fit is designed to allow for a full range of movement, ensuring that protective clothing never becomes a hindrance to the task at hand. This is not just a uniform; it is a well-engineered tool for your daily protection.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
At MyWorkwear, we understand that your brand identity is as important as your safety. This jacket is suitable for both print and embroidery customisation. If you require large, bold branding for high visibility across a site, our heat-applied printing techniques are an excellent alternative. All customisation is carried out by our expert in-house team in Telford, ensuring that the integrity of the flame-resistant fabric is respected while delivering a superior aesthetic result.

Practical Advice
The Bizflame Industry FR Jacket is a substantial outer layer. When selecting your size, consider the layers you intend to wear underneath, such as flame-resistant base layers or sweatshirts. Proper sizing is vital; a garment that is too tight may restrict movement, while one that is too loose could pose a snagging hazard on site.
Caring for your product
To maintain the protective properties and professional appearance of your jacket, it is essential to follow the care instructions precisely. Failure to do so may compromise the flame-resistant finish and the longevity of the fabric.
We recommend a normal wash process at a maximum temperature of 60°C. This temperature is sufficient to remove heavy industrial soiling while preserving the structural integrity of the cotton and polyester fibres. Avoid the use of bleach at all costs, as chlorine and other bleaching agents will chemically degrade the flame-resistant treatment, rendering the garment unsafe.
For drying, use a low heat setting in the tumble dryer. High heat can cause excessive shrinkage and may damage the anti-static carbon fibres woven into the fabric. If ironing is required, use a maximum soleplate temperature of 150°C to remove creases without scorching the material. Finally, do not dry clean this garment, as the solvents used in the process can interfere with the specialized protective chemicals in the Bizflame fabric.
