Product Overview
The Bizflame Hi-Vis FR Vest (FR75) is a specialized safety garment designed for professionals who require high-conspicuity and flame-retardant properties. As an essential part of our Flame Resistant Multi-Norm range, this vest provides a critical layer of safety in hazardous environments where visibility and heat protection are paramount. Its orange colour and reflective detailing ensure compliance with rigorous safety standards while maintaining a lightweight and functional profile.
Key Features
Certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 2, providing a high level of visibility to ensure the wearer is seen by colleagues and vehicle operators in complex environments.
Certified to EN ISO 14116 Index 1 for flame retardancy, offering protection against limited flame spread.
Constructed from 100% Polyester warp-knitted fabric, which offers a stable and durable structure that holds its shape through repeated use.
Designed as a lightweight fabric solution to prevent overheating while working in demanding conditions.
Design & Performance
The performance of the FR75 vest is rooted in its 100% Polyester warp-knit construction. Warp knitting creates a fabric that is both strong and flexible, ensuring the vest does not fray easily and maintains its integrity over time. Because it is a lightweight fabric, it offers excellent breathability and comfort, making it suitable for wear throughout long shifts without causing the fatigue often associated with heavier safety gear. The design focuses on ease of movement, allowing the wearer to perform manual tasks without restriction.
Customisation: Print & Embroidery
To enhance your professional appearance, the Bizflame Vest can be customised with your company branding. Embroidery is an excellent choice for adding logos or staff names, providing a durable and high-quality finish that withstands the rigours of industrial work. For larger, more prominent designs, our printing services deliver sharp and clear results that ensure your brand is visible from a distance.
All customisation is handled by our expert in-house team in Telford. With a heritage dating back to 1976, we have the experience to ensure that your branding is applied professionally without compromising the technical integrity of the safety garment.
Use Cases
This vest is specifically engineered for sectors such as utilities, maintenance, and construction, where workers may be exposed to brief contact with heat or flames. Given its orange high-visibility finish, it is also suitable for specific infrastructure and site requirements. It serves as an ideal identification layer for site visitors or regular staff requiring enhanced visibility.

Practical Advice
It is important to note the technical limitations of this garment: it must be worn over Index 2 or 3 garments to offer full flame-retardant protection. This vest is designed for layering, so we recommend considering the thickness of your primary workwear when selecting the size to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.
Caring for your product
To maintain the life and safety performance of this vest, we recommend a domestic wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C using a mild process. High temperatures can cause damage to the technical fibres and the reflective elements.
Bleaching should be avoided at all costs, as it will degrade the flame-retardant properties and the colour of the fabric. After washing, the garment should be line dried. Do not tumble dry, as the intense heat of a dryer can lead to shrinkage and potential damage to the safety tape.
This garment must not be ironed or dry cleaned. Direct heat from an iron or the chemical solvents used in dry cleaning can compromise the safety certifications and the overall structure of the warp-knitted polyester fabric.
