Product Overview
The Bell Comfort PU Foam Ear Plugs are a vital safety essential for any high-noise environment, offering a reliable barrier against auditory damage. Supplied in a substantial pack of 200 pairs, these earplugs are manufactured from ultra-soft polyurethane foam that is designed to expand gently, providing a snug and secure fit tailored to the individual wearer. The distinctive orange colour ensures high visibility, allowing for easy compliance checks in busy workshops or on construction sites. Each pair is individually wrapped in a hygienic polybag, which is particularly beneficial for maintaining cleanliness in dusty or industrial conditions.
Key Features
- The ultra-soft PU foam construction provides a gentle expansion within the ear canal, ensuring that the user experiences high levels of comfort even during long shifts.
- A specialised bell-shaped design conforms more naturally to the ear's anatomy, which facilitates a superior seal and prevents the plug from working its way out during movement.
- Individual hygienic polybags ensure each pair remains sterile and free from debris until the moment of use, which is critical for preventing ear infections in trade environments.
- Included fitting instructions guide the user on correct insertion, which is essential to achieve the maximum protective potential of the product.
- A high attenuation rating of SNR 37dB offers substantial protection against the persistent and loud noises found in heavy industry and construction.
Design & Performance
The performance of the EP06 model is rooted in the quality of its slow-recovery foam. Unlike lower-quality alternatives that may expand too quickly, this PU material allows the user sufficient time to roll and insert the plug correctly before it begins to form a tight acoustic seal. The bell shape is a deliberate ergonomic feature; it provides a wider base that sits comfortably at the entrance of the ear canal, making removal straightforward and preventing the plug from being inserted too deeply. Despite their high level of protection, the earplugs are exceptionally lightweight, meaning they do not cause the pressure or discomfort often associated with more rigid hearing protection.
Why No Customisation?
Due to the disposable nature of these earplugs and their status as essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), we do not offer customisation for this product. These items are designed for single-use and direct contact with the ear canal; applying inks, heat, or embroidery would compromise the structural integrity and hygienic standards of the PU foam. To ensure your safety and compliance with EN 352-2 standards, these are supplied in their original, tested condition.
Use Cases
These earplugs are designed for professionals across a variety of demanding sectors. They are standard equipment for construction workers, plumbers, and electricians who deal with the high-frequency noise of power tools. They are equally suited for mechanics in automotive workshops, arborists using heavy machinery, and those working in the aviation industry. With 200 pairs per box, they are an efficient choice for site managers who need to provide consistent, high-quality protection for large workforces.

Practical Advice
To ensure the best possible protection, always roll the earplug between your thumb and forefinger into a tight, crease-free cylinder. Reach over your head with the opposite hand to pull the top of your ear up and back, then insert the plug. Hold it in place for a few seconds while it expands. This technique ensures the foam reaches deep enough into the canal to block noise effectively. Given their lightweight nature, they can be comfortably worn alongside safety helmets, goggles, or face shields without interference.
Caring for your product
To maintain the safety and performance of this hearing protection, these earplugs should be treated as single-use items. Reusing foam earplugs can lead to the accumulation of bacteria, oils, and earwax, which not only poses a risk of ear infection but also degrades the foam, preventing it from creating an effective seal.
We do not recommend washing these earplugs. Polyurethane foam is a porous material; contact with water or cleaning agents will ruin the 'memory' of the foam, causing it to lose its expansion properties and rendering the protection useless. Similarly, do not use bleach or harsh chemicals, as these will cause the material to break down and potentially irritate the skin.
Store the box in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight. Excessive heat or moisture can make the foam brittle or sticky over time, which will compromise the comfort and safety of the product.
