Product Overview

The T-Robust Top S7S is a substantial, heavyweight safety boot engineered for the most punishing industrial environments. As a flagship model in the Fortrex collection, this 8-inch boot is designed for professionals who refuse to compromise on protection. Featuring a water-resistant Nabutek leather upper and the precision-engineered BOA® Fit System, the B1613 provides a secure, custom-feeling fit without the hassle of traditional laces. It is a robust piece of footwear that combines advanced thermal insulation with comprehensive underfoot protection.

Key Features

  • BOA® Fit System: This system provides a micro-adjustable, precision fit that can be operated with one hand, ensuring your boots stay secure throughout the shift without the risk of tripping over loose laces.

  • SlimCap Toe-Cap: The non-metallic SlimCap provides 200 joules of impact resistance while maintaining a thinner profile, offering the same protection as steel but with significantly less bulk and weight.

  • PRIMALOFT® Thermal Lining: High-performance insulation keeps feet warm in sub-zero temperatures while remaining breathable to manage moisture during active work.

  • Fortrex Puncture Resistance: A patented non-metallic insert protects the sole against sharp objects, including smaller diameter nails, providing essential safety on construction and demolition sites.

  • HRO & SR Certified: The outsole is heat-resistant up to 300°C for one minute and features SR-rated slip resistance on ceramic and glycerin surfaces for superior stability.

Design & Performance

The design of the T-Robust Top focuses on longevity and user comfort in extreme conditions. The Nabutek leather upper is specifically treated for water resistance, ensuring feet remain dry in inclement weather. Internally, the boot features a Dry'n Air footbed which facilitates air circulation to prevent moisture build-up. This is complemented by the SmellStop antibacterial lining, which helps maintain hygiene and reduces odour over the life of the boot.

Performance is further enhanced by the Fortrex sole, a combination of PU and rubber that offers exceptional shock absorption in the heel. The addition of a ladder grip in the sole's arch provides extra security for those working at heights or on scaffolding. This is a sturdy, high-performance boot designed to withstand hydrocarbons, cold temperatures down to -17°C, and heat up to 150°C.

Why No Customisation?

As this is a high-specification piece of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 standards, we do not offer customisation. Adding embroidery or heat-applied logos to the Nabutek leather could compromise the integrity of the water-resistant barrier or damage the internal technical linings. To ensure the boot performs exactly as the manufacturer intended, we supply it in its original, certified state.

Use Cases

This boot is ideally suited for heavy construction, civil engineering, and offshore work where environmental conditions are unpredictable. Its thermal properties and cold insulation make it an excellent choice for outdoor winter projects, while the heat-resistant sole is a necessity for those working on hot surfaces or in smelting environments.

Practical Advice

The T-Robust Top is available in specific widths for both men and women to ensure an anatomical fit. Given the thick PRIMALOFT® lining, we recommend pairing these boots with a dedicated technical work sock to aid moisture wicking. Ensure the BOA® dial is kept clear of heavy mud to maintain its smooth operation over time.

Caring for your product

To maintain the integrity of the Nabutek leather, regularly remove dirt and debris with a soft brush or a damp cloth. Allowing mud to dry on the leather can strip away natural oils, leading to cracking and a loss of water resistance over time.

If the boots become wet, they should be allowed to dry naturally in a well-ventilated room. Never place them directly against a radiator or heat source, as extreme heat can damage the internal membranes and cause the rubber outsole to become brittle. Periodic treatment with a suitable leather conditioner will help maintain the suppleness of the upper and extend the service life of your footwear.
